    What's not to like?

This is becoming my regular stop when traveling down to Cornwall, there's always a warm welcome, the rooms are nicely decorated, well appointed and clean. The village is beautiful and the beer is perfect

Initially disappointed to find out that the pub was closed on Mondays but please see above to see how well the owners dealt with it

Loved the quirky old building and the lovely gardens Also after being a bit disappointed to find out that the pub was closed on Mondays we then really enjoyed the fact that they prepared food for us in the pub and we were able to have a couple of drinks with our food .

Don’t expect luxury. But it is good if you just need to put your head down.

It was very basic. But you are not paying too dollar. It does what it says on the tin. Staff very nice. Breakfast was well worth the £10 per person. Fruit/yoghurt/cereal/full English snd. Unlimited tea/coffee. Bedroom clean and tidy. Bed comfortable.

Steps outside really needed a handrail.

Rustic, perfect for taking your doggie companion. Welcoming landlady, lovely food. Were shown the donkeys, ponies and llamas on site. Wonderful halfway stop to Cornwall.

The steps leading down from the rooms to the pub are a little bit iffy if you aren't fully mobile.

We needed a place to stay to break up a journey and this was ideal. Rooms were spotless with the usual welcome tray. We ate in their pub at night and it was very good and the locals were extremely friendly sharing banter. The next morning we had a cooked breakfast for £10 each and was well worth it. I would not hesitate to recommend the Royal Oak in Dunsford for an overnight stay.

    I've no complaints!

Nice pub with excellent beer and food (breakfast too) and very friendly helpful staff (who, I believe, are the owners of the business). Well behaved dogs are most welcome, which can be so important.

Not the place for you If you want a flash wet room with power shower, oversized beds and expresso coffee on tap !

The centre of a quiet little village - feels like the middle of nowhere - Warm welcome, uncluttered functional room , a lot quieter than the normal "room in a pub". Everything worked. Great food served promptly in warm and very pleasant surroundings in the pub. Very good nights sleep and a pleasure waking up to the sound of sheep and phesants ! And excellent value .

I think this is the best place I've ever stayed. I had my own blanket, towel, bowl and treats supplied! there was even a place for me to run! PS My two legged friend liked it as well! He says we'll be back!

Pub closing at 10pm but we knew that before booking.

Friendly owner, nicely decorated clean quaint coach house rooms. Great bathroom and good shower with nice towels and soaps and shampoos. We arrived late 10:15pm and there was no fuss. The owner gave us time for a drink and had a nice chat with him.

The wifi and television didn’t work. Wifi worked in the pub, though.

It was exactly where I wanted to go. It was a pub/ b&b, so there was food (no shops in village). The owners were friendly. The shower was excellent. The courtyard setup was fun.
