Floor corners in need of good clean,very dirty windows,toilet seat moving,dusty here and there.

The room we stayed in (3) had a lovely view and was a good size but there were no drawers to put any clothes in and only a tiny hanging area.

Unfortunately the shower in my room wasn't working which was inconvenient. I was able to shower in a different room. I was not offered a discount or free food or drink to compensate which was a surprise. Also there were doing work to the building with scaffolding etc.

A double bed we prefer bigger bed king size or bigger next time may get twin room as may sleep better !!

The TV is to the right of the bed and can't be seen from the bed which we thought was a little strange and also meant we couldn't watch TV in bed, perhaps a bracket that pulls out and swivels could solve this problem. There are a few mould spots in the bathroom on the ceiling that need attention.

Very friendly greeting, made to feel welcome. Free parking. Room cosy and warm, with lots of facilities like menus, tea and coffee making, ironing, fans, pillows etc, bathroom clean and nice, shower had good pressure.

For the price we paid it was good value, just a few finishing touches lacking in the bathroom.

The location is perfect, close to the beach for long walks and accessible to the Southbourne main shopping area. Breakfast was good, friendly staff.

Excellent and relaxing three night stay, the staff were efficient and friendly. Food and drink was good and reasonably priced. The bar was busy with lots going on.great location.. Very dog friendly.

Dinner, however, was very disappointing, I’m afraid as it was served cold. I mentioned this to the manager the following day and she said I should have made them aware at the time which, in fairness, we should have done but the pub was heaving so finding available staff to do that proved quite difficult. Furthermore, breakfast was not good either too and needs improving. Our only negative feedback.

The welcome and friendliness of the management and staff was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they are incredibly dog friendly which is a huge bonus if you have furry friends. We arrived around lunchtime and were surprised to find the pub so vibrant and in full swing. It was really welcoming. In fact, it was one of the best pubs we have been to and I would highly recommend it.
