The pub that it’s attached to isn’t that welcoming. I didn’t feel very comfortable waking in as a female.

It was close to a Stansted Airport so stayed here for an early flight.

The breakfast is served and near by PUB, which is opening from 11am. So if you have a plain to catch in the morning, most likely you will skip breakfast.

The room overall is nice and well kept. Easy and clear instructions about self-checkin.

Mattress not the best and no shop in the village if your stuck for anything or want something for breakfast.

The staff each and every one of them were lovely and very friendly and the food is amazing and the pub is lovely and comfortable. The people running the place are doing a great job and I'll stay again if I'm over that way.

I had a very early flight the morning after my stay which I was annoyed about once I saw the Inn as it was a very cosy village inn . The staff I encountered were lovely and the room was very nice .

There was no breakfast availability anywhere around the location. You had to drive to Bishops Stortford, or stanstead

It felt far off the beaten track, possibly because the weather was bad (snow and fog) and we arrived mid-evening in the dark. It would have been nice to have had breakfast there as well.

Dinner at the pub was good. The pet friendly rooms were detached from the main building and it was just unfortunate that our dog found it hard to settle with people leaving the pub just a few metres away.

The cups were stained which was a shame. The radiator didn't work which was a problem as it was snowing outside! We had an electric heater provided however which was handy to have but not the same as it did keep turning on and off to self-regulate.

The gorgeous, historic property, lovely sized room, clean, beautiful bathroom with large bath, and very comfy bed! Free parking was also a great added benefit. Great, free wi-fi. Very easy, clear check-in. Lots of information was provided to us on our arrival, in the guest book. Beautiful surroundings and very quiet and peaceful.

House keeping had called whilst I was out, left a fresh towel that I didn’t need, only there for two evenings. didn’t re-make the bed or clean the dirty tea cup from that morning? However not to detract from that the rooms are very adequate & clean. Might just be my network but was unable to get phone reception, wifi is available but annoyingly have to re-login each time want to use it.

individually located outside rooms, easy to come and go at unsociable hours for work commitments. Very friendly staff & country pub with good quality food served. Stayed at this property a few times for work and will most likely return.

The TV was very small. Bathroom could use a little TLC and the entrance to the car park outside the window meant it was sometimes noisy (thankfully not too much for us as the pub was closed but imagine it would be worse later in the week).

The room was spacious and warm with a comfortable bed. The pub was closed because it was a Monday but it’s only a 10 minute drive to the nearest town for restaurants (and recommendations were provided). A good place to spend the night before an early flight at Stansted. Other reviews have mentioned the Wi-Fi - you sometimes have to reconnect but otherwise it worked well.

Breakfast wasn't available, though there are some great cafes close by. We went to Pop-in cafe in Bishop's Stortford, and definitely recommend it.

The pub is great with a really nice atmosphere, plus good food and beer. Beds were comfy and the room was clean and tidy - very good value for money. Manuden is very pleasant with easy access to a lot of public footpaths and surrounded by lovely countryside.
