Hotel looks a little dated with 70s decor in corridors, and streets leading to hotel from town centre not most salubrious. Best approached from seafront side!

Breakfasts are exceptional: quality produce and choice, tablecloths, served from hot tureens and experience is made to feel special. Pool, jacuzzi and spa facilities are spacious, clean and massages are heavenly. Superb friendly service. Location fantastic- close to everything.

Ran out of a couple of things at breakfast on bank holiday Monday which was a shame but I understand pre-ordering ahead would have been difficult with the bank holiday. Staff could have been more attentive and smiley. They were very informative but lacked a smile and “have a nice day” for example.

Coffee machine in breakfast is a bit too over used so needs changing.

The Complimentary spa usage - jacuzzi, swimming pool, sauna and the steam room - provided towels as well. In addition, breakfast was amazing in the morning, hot and fresh full english and nice and warm croissants and pain au chocalat and danishes,

There was no hand wash in the room, only a bar of soap, would have preferred full hand wash. No instructions came with air con system. Lift was very small when having suitcases and bags. Bar inside very expensive!

Good location, easy to park, very welcoming. Nice clean room with comfortable beds, plenty of hot water in the shower. Excellent swimming pool and spa. Staff were friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was good quality and had plenty of choice. Very good value for money.

Parking cannot be reserved. First come, first serve.

10 min walk to the beach, room clean, bed comfortable. Staff all very friendly, welcoming and extremely efficient . Special thanks to Kevin who resolved an issue promptly. SPA relaxing and very clean. Breakfast lovely. - large selection of hot and cold food. Would definately stay again.

Very out dated, lots of areas that need a makeover, obvious signs of holes in ceilings and wet patches. Old shower that just runs from the bath taps! Didn't feel safe standing in the bath, very small slippery.

Having to Pay for parking when paying for a room. The bar was empty, lack of atmosphere and not comfortable. Room was tired looking and hotel overall appeared tired. Rubbish left outside room, bird all over windows, spider webs everywhere and generally worn. Bathroom cupboard falling apart. Breakfast cold.

Bathroom had a shower above bath - a separate shower would have been preferrable. Bathroom blind did not work so one was down all the time. Need a bright light available on dressing table for doing make up. Breakfast advertised as having continental options (meat/cheese) but none were available. Restaurant menu was good.

Quiet location. Comfortable. Lots of storage space for clotehs etc. Lovely fires to sit by for drinks (tea/coffee or in the evening). Spa was good.
