Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe charges for leaving the car overnight whilst staying at the property seem rather high, considering it was around 8 hours over night (cost £15), when checking in and paying for all room and car park I was told to get my invoice only upon check out (odd), but when it came to check out early in the morning the night porter gave us a completely different invoice from a different person. Unfortunately we only noticed when we were already at the airport, so to late to return and change it.
Definitely the location (proximity to the airport ), the room was sufficient just for the night before the flight,

United KingdomThe cost of the necessary hub is £8 per person eah way which puts a considerable cost on your accommodation cost should you be a family of four
A very nice welcome at reception after a long journey to London. A great location for Terminal 5 and surprisingly quiet. Good signposting and instructions on reaching Hotel via the Hub. The reception area very bright and clean and would liked to have had more time to enjoy food choices.

United StatesCouldn't connect to the wifi on my phone in my room. No lifts, which was ok for me, but could be an issue with heavy suitcases for rooms upstairs. Also would be helpful to have USB chargers in the rooms along with plug sockets, and a plug socket to charge your phone nearer the bed.
Room was a good size, and clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice hot shower with good pressure. Great location for flights from Heathrow terminal 5.

MalaysiaInterior is old. Getting into the hotel from the pod is awkward with the code. How the get the code when entering was not clear. Ask for the code before leaving the hotel.
Very close to the airport. Sufficient for my stay. Best choice I guess if you have an early flight.

United KingdomDisappointing food, but lovely staff. Night-porter gave me key code for Pod gate but put #code# instead of [code] which delayed me a while.

United KingdomThe hot breakfast items were dry & luke warm & not very tasty. Cold items were ok though & there was plenty of it. No sound proofing so we heard every plane land. Thankfully they seemed to stop around midnight to 6 am before waking us up again.
Staff were excellent & the pod system to get there was convenient. The hotel is basic but good value.

Ireland2 things We checked in late and had a very early start next morning. Although we paid on check in we couldn't for some reason get a receipt until the next morning when we other things on our minds. We arrived using the Pod transport from Terminal 5. It goes goes to an airport car park next to the hotel. It is very convenient. There was a fee for this , 8 pounds each person per journey totalling 32 pounds which was added to our hotel bill. Now the Pod transport has nothing to do with the hotel so a charge is understandable, but my problem is there was no mention of this in the hotel description nor when booking. This was a 29% markup. If more than 2 people are travelling, taxi from the airport might be better value and certainly if from a different terminal to 5 would be easier. Terminal 5 is accessible by free train but the airport central station is some way from all terminals, difficult with a lot of luggage. This charge is not the hotel's fault, but the failure to clearly mention it is. Otherwise The experience was excellent and we will return.

United KingdomSmall room. Overlooked car park , reception staff not the friendliest or most helpful, breakfast not the best, cold meats looked cheap and nasty. Bathroom grout grubby and bath handles rusted. No fridge. There are no plugs by bed. It is expensive to get a taxi too when arriving late at night. Shop prices are extortionate to us but maybe average for the area. Wouldn't go again. Definitely more for the business person.
Bed comfortable, on ground floor, cheaper than a lot around the area. Nice wait staff at breakfast. Clean.

United KingdomThe room was a bit tired but it was clean and comfortable. No one is having their holidays here so it really doesn't matter. One thing to mention is that this hotel is NOT suitable for anyone who struggles with stairs, there is no lift and my room was a long way from reception.
If you have an early flight the location could not be better, I arrived at T5 on the Elizabeth line in the evening, found the automatic PODs, jumped in and five minutes later I was in my room and did it in reverse the next morning. Perfect.
