The en-suite bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, a broken window, 5 coat hangers, but only one hook to put them all on. A very small room that was meant to be a double.

Not much sound proofing, seemed understaffed at breakfast, not clear how to change the heating in the room, if at all possible. Few amenities in the room.

Room was clean and English breakfast was good. Staff were polite.

This property is a diamond in the rough. The location is wonderful but the property exterior especially could use updating. There is no air conditioning and the room was really stuffy. Thankfully it wasn’t hot outside. We asked for a fan which was provided and the room was comfortable after that. Path up to the main road is very steep and overgrown; not accessible for anyone with mobility issues. The staff work very hard but are understaffed with front end staff often covering multiple jobs.

Beautiful location next to the toll bridge and river with an operating waterwheel. Views from the lounge were amazing. We were upgraded to the hotel from the lodge rooms. Bus stop to city centre is 5 minute walk. On site Italian restaurant was excellent. Grilled salmon was superb. Close to the George Inn pub for another dining option. Room was small but well appointed, with large screen smart TV. Ensuite bathroom with tub and shower. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was amazing and very hard working.

Having to pay to park £10 !! The veranda is a walkway to restaurant/garden not a veranda. We had an evening meal there, my wife ordered a fillet steak medium when it arrived it was bathing in a pool of blood!!! So sent it back twice when it came back the third time it still was raw in the middle but my wife was so hungry that she ate around it. Because my wife had eaten the chips and about a third of the steak I only paid half for the steak. The waitress was absolutely brilliant though, she done everything except cook. The hotel seems to be under staffed. The Hotel is overpriced, I stayed in a hotel two minutes drive away which was substantially cheaper but no breakfast included.

Receptionist and waiting staff were really nice. We stayed in the main hotel the room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom and shower were very good

The whole hotel appeared quite outdated and tatty. Although I had a fairly comfortable stay and the location is pretty it was just too overpriced

Everything was OK but basic. Breakfast choice of hot foods was good. Pretty location

The room had everything you needed except air conditioning. The bed was comfortable. The view from the Juliet balcony was beautiful. Decor was a little tired but otherwise very clean.

The basic room was VERY basic. A little cramped, seemed a bit tired, curtains off hooks, no products in bathroom, no shelves to stow towels. Due to private carpark £10 fee and extremely tight enterence off a toll road.

The scenery was absolutely beautiful!! The breakfast was varied and very tasty, very good value for money. Comfortable bed.

This is nestled in such a beautiful location of bath. The pricing is very good value for money and the rooms are decorated well. So definitely be back.

The only thing I came across was the sign for the hotel entrance was small on a wall and easy to miss. Little side road off the toll bridge area.

The breakfast was very good. The Italian restaurant food was very nice. Ellie on reception and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very little! The room was very well maintained and clean.

The room was basic but comfortable. Lovely view. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. They kept the restaurant open out of hours so that our group of eight could dine. Much appreciated. The front desk staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.

Parking a little tight for my van, good job I got there early, advertised sound proof wall's unfortunately far from it, people came in at 2am could hear everything, rooms also very small.

Nice location next to the river, comfortable bed, good WiFi and TV with bonus of Netflix, good breakfast.

The facade, breakfast room and bar are a bit outdated, but those are minor cosmetic issues.

My mom and I got an unexpected upgrade and the room was beautiful and very clean. We loved that you could see the Avon and willow tree from our window. The staff were very friendly. We went to The George pub and the other one across the river and they were excellent- all in walking distance. A bus takes you to downtown Bath. ( bus stop is 4 walking minutes)
