Bathroom would need a bit of decorating, the lift wasn't working one evening. Not problem for us but foe elderly and young families.

Swimming pool was a great addition to the lovely room. It was clean and the stuff were helpful and friendly. Bad very comfortable. Quiet.

The consistency was off with the food. Ate in the restaurant twice, daughter had the same meal and it was different each time. Not a major issue, but i think they could make things the same, so people know what to expect.

No travel cot available despite this being part of our booking and emails confirming and asking which room it was for. The reception staff were really helpful, trying to consider alternatives. We offered to go and buy a cot, but they were not able to guarantee reimbursement. With no other option, we did decide to buy a cot, but the manager was then not able to refund the money spent. We were given food vouchers as an alternative. One lift for the 5 floor building. One evening, the lift broke. It was fixed by the morning, but with a toddler and heavily pregnant member in our party, it was a trek to the 4th floor.

Helpful reception staff who went above and beyond to help problem solve. Lovely big pool with staff who offered help. Good food served well. The breakfast team were able to provide coffee during a breakfast service quickly despite the only coffee machine breaking. Good sized room with a big, comfy bed.

Why have self check in decks? After a long journey you find yourself having to work a computer system out, find your booking, add your car details and email address…then programme your own room key is appalling. Even more so when there’s two staff stood a couple of feet away on their phones. Just get some old fashioned customer service back. It’s not funky or modern just a gimmick.

Location was good and it felt recently refitted inside. Great breakfast.

It was a shame that breakfast cost £10 per child as hardly any of our kids ate anywhere near £10 worth of breakfast.

The rooms were a good size and the beds very comfortable. The bathrooms were also of a good size. Everything was clean and seemed well looked after. Generally the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The pool and changing rooms were of a high standard Would definitely stay again.

Bar staff were hopeless…..tables full of dirty glasses everywhere….in the afternoon we spent in the bar our glasses were never cleared…pretty much same with all the tables….looked a right state! This was def not due to understaffing as there was around 6 on duty, just laziness and lack of ability!

Had a long wait of about 15 minutes for the children’s pudding and had to ask twice for them.

Their was something for all of us. Our son loved the freedom to play darts and football while his Dad watched the footie and I had a glass of wine. Swimming pool was a huge hit too.

No glasses for water in bathroom. Lack of any overhead lighting in bedroom - hard to find things in my suitcase at night with just bedside lamps.

Perfect located for me as I was visiting a relative in nearby Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Great breakfast. Great bed.
