Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThe size of the room was a bit too small. It was hard to move in the room with two people as everything was a bit too tight
Really clean and modern

United KingdomWe booked a budget room but it didn't clarify that the room was on the lower ground. The sound proofing is not good as we could constantly hear noise from upstairs. There was a panel in the room for controlling the temperature but it didn't work and we had to call reception to change the temperature for us.
The hotel was in a nice area with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Also close to a tube station with District and Piccadilly lines which makes it easier to get to more central locations

SwitzerlandThe location of the hotel is perfect. Really close to a subway stop which goes directly to Heathrow Airport. We were also lucky to be upgraded to a superior room for free. The room was very comfortable and perfectly equipped.

CanadaNothing, other than the room location beside the elevator. I suppose that is what you get when you only book 1 night.
Very clean and perfect location, just around the corner from the Earls Court station. We specifically stayed in this area to catch the train in the morning to Heathrow. The shower and bed were perfect. Despite being located right beside the elevator on the 1st floor, it was very quiet and we barely heard the elevator coming and going.

United Arab EmiratesThe Signage for the rooms could have been outside the elevator , although they did mention the floor , first floor means different things for American vs Brits :) just a suggestion . we asked to be checked in and our bags moved to the rooms , this could have improved our overall experience , as we were 3 then one checked out and the rest moved to a smaller room. Not sure why it was an issue that check in had to be at 3 , if the system can be improved to allow guests to check in and at least know in which building they'll end up would be nice
Location was great next to earl's court subway station so convenient , on the picadilly line so you can go straight to the airport ,the rooms were very clean small but it was ok we booked 2 kind of rooms one was in the main building triple room and one was a twin bed room , both were nice and clean I would stay here again the location had many Halal eateries nearby which is a plus . note that you can be in a separate building than the reception so I would suggest to check in before carrying your bags up the small stairs. we arrived early and we had to store our bags in the reception area . some of the staff were warm and welcoming and some were just courteous, I didnt expect friendliness so expectations were low already :D honestly was expecting the worst when reading the reviews and I am someone who's critical , but it wasn't bad at all and it was too late for me to change my booking , I didn't regret staying here after all

United KingdomDidn't like breakfast room... Made to sit at a bench with other couples, loud boring conversations, particularly Americans... No privacy, buffet muddled, only tea plates supplied, no option for additional plates for toast for instance... Could be better...

United StatesThe staff wasn’t terribly friendly. They were professional, just not overly warm and welcoming. Also, the late check in was tough for travelers arriving early in the morning on overnight flights.
The room was great, location was wonderful and walkable. 2 minutes to tube and many restaurants/mini mart

The location of this hotel is great! Only a few minutes from Earl's Court Station. It's also near bus stops. I loved the quiet and beautiful neighborhood. In the area, you will find a selection of restaurants, pubs, bakeries, supermarkets, fast food restaurants, and more. Friendly staff. Room was decent size. Bathroom was small but modern, with heated floors.

United KingdomWe were on the lower ground floor so didn’t have much of a view. But it was quiet. And we did have to go outside to walk a couple of doors down to go for breakfast. It looks like the company own a few houses side by side but there’s another hotel in the middle which I think stops them having inside access to the bit we were in.
We wanted to be near a tube station as we were going to Chelsea flower show Earl’s Court tube station is just round the corner a couple of minutes walk away. We were given an upgrade. The room was a good size the beds were comfy and the bathroom was a decent size.We had an overhead shower and bath. The room was spotless. With tea and coffee maker.

ThailandThe hair dryer is not easy to used like sometime its just turn off and you have to wait for a moment until it available again. Maybe they should change it. And also because my room is on the ground floor close to the entrance and lift. I experienced the noises from the working lift and sometimes when people walking. Suggest for someone who’s sensitive in noise while sleeping avoid this room. Also, i think maybe the hotel should have an extra security for ground floor rooms like outside people shouldn’t walk directly to our room and the hotel should add the door peephole.
The cleanliness of the room plus their change the towels and refill the amenities every day. The location is the best! Near the tube station and a lot of coffee shop and cafe. The earl’s court tube station is the station that you can take tube directly from Heathrow airport very convenient.
