Everything was really good. As an improvement may be they can have bit more variety with the breakfast main course simply because we stayed for many days but what they had was really filling and tasty.

Spiros and his family provided us with amazing comfortable service. They were really kind and genuinely helpful in all aspects. Breakfast was always fresh and really good. They had good contacts in terms of activities and sight seeing and that was really helpful. They suggested a semi private fishing tour ( Flora Fishing tours ) with Antonio and family and the experience was wonderful especially for our 5 year old son. The location was fantastic.. Santorini is not known for beaches but across the island the best you can get is in front of sand gem. The jacuzzi was always clean and perfect and the view was as expected overlooking the shore. Ample options in terms.of restaurants, bars and supermarkets within few hundred metres. The stay made our trip memorable.

Beach road can be busy (and noisy) during daytime so many people can watch to your patio while you are into your hot tube & ”sunbed”.

Family run apartment hotel, Spiros the young guy gave all info what we needed. Recommendations, transfer service, any help you need, all family is there for you. His dad prepared our brekkie, bread , eggs, yogurt, fruits.. plenty of food 😄 Room was big, nicely done and spotless everyday. Patio is semi private (beach road next to apartment), my only issue was that; sun is shining to hot tub around ~7-16, but not in bed at all. You can always go to the beach 😊 Good location, restaurants and mini markets nearby. Bus stop is 1min walking distance. Friendly and welcoming apartment, feels like home!

Not a thing, everything was perfect.

Can't recommend this apartment enough! The location is perfect - you are basically next to the beach. Spiros, the manager was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions quickly. We checked in late (around midnight) but he was waiting for us and showed everything around and we also got a tiny gift in our room . The jacuzzi is the best, it is on the perfect spot - you can watch the sea from the terrace but the people walking on the street can't see you. We asked them to make it a bit hotter for us and it was solved quickly. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We travelled with a 7 months old and it was so great to have a the tiny kitchen counter where we could manage his feeds. We literally had the best time there!

Spiros gave us a very warm and attentive welcome! He was always on hand with his big smile to give advice or have a chat. The apartments were fab, with uninterrupted views of the sea, a great hot tub free sun beds on the beach, and some stuff for breakfast! Highly recommended, the beach was also lovely with some restaurants close by. Thank you, Spiros, and good luck with your family business!

Nothing, everything was great!

From the moment we booked the room communications has been excellent. When we arrived we were so warmly welcomed, each morning we received a beautiful hearty breakfast with the biggest smiles! The hotel is owned by a family and you can really feel that wholeheartedly, despite the very welcoming atmosphere we were given plenty of privacy and never felt we were lacking anything. There are regular buses that will take you to Fira and Oia but why leave when you have the black sand beach right at your door! It has been truly amazing and would absolutely visit again!!

The Sand Gem apartment is new so there's no shutter just a simple shader curtain. For those who're sensitive to light, could be a problem during sleep. Fortunately, it was not an issue for us. It's probably a matter of time to be equipped.

The apartment is run by manager Spiros and his family, they're welcoming and super kind in general. Also very helpful when it comes to any question, or need. This was our honeymoon, so a tasty wine was avaiting us in the fridge that we asked :) We've also got help in arranging the transport from and to the airport. The room and the beach is wonderful, just like it's depicted on the photos, also clean and well maintained. The breakfast was delightful, served warmly by Spiros's father with a great smile on his face which made the start of every day a joy. We've even received a goodbye souvenir gift from them, we couldn't be more grateful for their hospitality.

The location is great, the room very comfortable, the private jacuzzi with sea view, it's wonderfull. The staff is attentive, smiling, helpful, and does not hesitate to share good tips with you. We had a very warm welcome, and nice touches for our honeymoon despite our late arrival. The breakfast is great. Awesome stay.

This is a family run business. Spiros and his family went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay at Sand Gem. The location is great-a stone's throw from the beach, a shop next door with what you would possibly need, sun loungers and umbrella complimentary and a very delicious breakfast. We'll be back.

Spiros and his family were incredibly attentive, always available and created a welcoming atmosphere every day. The apartments are very well located, with Perivolos and Perissa in walking distance. The sun beds and umbrellas were included which made beach life all the more relaxing. The facilities were great, the apartments are cleaned daily and the outer lounge areas were a nice touch to enjoy the quiet of an evening. We are already dreaming about the breakfast 😍 όλα καλά!!!
