Bathroom did not have enough light sources !!! That was really annoying.

Our room had a Sea view and was well furnished. Outdoor pool is impressive. Indoor pool is quite enjoyable. Breakfast and dinner consisted of extensive variety of vegetables, meats, fish, salads, pastas, fruits, chesees, cackes, ice cream... Astounding !

The coffee served at breakfast is undrinkable. It's really sad for a hotel with such great food that they cannot provide better coffee. WiFi could be better.

PARKING The hotel has their own parking and that is a plus! However, parking spaces are so narrow we were afraid we will damage our car, hitting the car parked on the parking next to us. gain, given that all the places on the Croatian coast, regardless of their size, have problem with the parking, I think it was fairly priced and the very fact that we didn't have to chase for the parking elsewhere made us feel happy. INSIDE SWIMMING POOL We used the swimming pool on several occasions and we really enjoyed it warm salt water and jacuzzis. It has two nice jacuzzis and the staff is really great. However, you can tell it is old and could use the renovation. Also, the pool windows are covered with some sort of glued plastic, so you feel detached from the outside. In my opinion, it would be great if you could see the sky, while taking a swim and enjoying the amenities by the pool.

We stayed in a Premium Double Room With Sea View and the Balcony and we were amazed by how clean it was and the magnificent view it provided. The room is spacious and it was visited by the cleaner everyday, which came as a surprise, because we didn't expect it and it felt good to come back to the clean room everyday after our breakfast. The bed is surprisingly big. Balcony has two comfortable chairs with a table AND two additional lounge chairs and a separate table. We were pleasantly surprised by the room size and balcony size. Both are spacious and bright. Hotel was peaceful, the hotel staff is amazing. Everyone from waiters in the lobby restaurant, receptionists, sauna and pool staff, waiters in the restaurant were on the top of their game and I firmly believe they deserve a raise and would definitely benefit from upgrading their current monthly salary (little bird told us their current salaries leave a lot to be desired). There are two swimming pools available, outside and inside. Both pools have salt water (I guess it comes from the sea and goes through some sort of filtering facility). We used both extensively. The inside pool has a warm water, while the water in the outside pool is colder, but still great. We took a half board and we were satisfied by the selection of food for both breakfast and dinner. Food varied and everyday there was something new to try. Was it the best food there is? No, but it was up to the high standards and we enjoyed it. If we ever wind up in Opatija again, we will definitely come back to this hotel.

As a former Facilities Manager, I noticed quite a lot of "deferred" maintenance issues in the room and throughout the hotel. Not something dramatic, yet sad to see those in a good 4-star property. Very narrow garage parking spaces, so two modern cars typically take three spaces, leaving some guests without parking. The location of a suite is in the inner corner of the building, giving a claustrophobic feeling with limited view and sunlight entering the room. The room rate is rather steep for a shoulder season.

Swimming pool. It is not very big, but saltwater is a huge advantage. Very good food at breakfast and dinner. We got an upgrade from a Junior Suite to a Suite, which was very nice to have. Very good staff members, fluent in three or four languages.

Very nice hotel. We got apartmant for our family and it was huge and amazing. It was truly beautiful. Food was amazing and very delicious. There was so many things offered that I was a little bit shocked. We went to the pool and gym. Gym could be a little bit better but it was ok. Pool was good. It had whirpool and jacuzzi. Kids had so much fun. Staff was also very polite and helpful.

Very high tables in the restaurant made it uncomfortable to sit and eat. Some groups weren't shown an area to sit together which caused some problems with individual travelers being " crowded out ". The showers in the sauna area had only somewhat cold water, not really cold or a cold water hose or ice which is standard in most wellness areas.

Excellent place for a shorter or an extended stay. Offers a top location, large seawater pool, Jacuzzis, saunas and a small gym. Big buffet selection, including, for example, different fish offered almost every day of my 1 week stay.

Variety of food for breakfast and dinner. Comfortable bed and bed cloth. A big pool with the sea water and nicely renovated saunas. Spacious room with a big balcony - all rooms have sea view! Highly recommended for a short business stay or a family vacation!
