A disappointing end to our stay. On our final night there were guys outside our room making a lot of noise. I came out twice to ask the staff to tell them to keep it down. The staff member was good about it but the noise did not stop. I didn't get a good night's sleep and to make matters worse, our taxi driver the next morning was told about me complaining about noise by one of the hotel staff. He should not have heard about it and it is clear that there was gossip about me. I think asking the noise to be kept down after midnight is a pretty reasonable request.

Loved the location and the staff taking the initiative to help us out ie carry our bags. Air con was great and exterior design was lovely.

When I arrived at night, they wanted more money for the double bed, even though I had already paid for it. It wasn't much, but it's just annoying to be received like that.

The property needs much better cleaning and some general maintenance. Photos are of the worst bits. The rest of the place was fine. Towel smelled of cigarettes(?) or something. Needs new towels/linen. Fridge needs new seal, as it doesn’t close fully & ices up. Pool bar closed all the time. Poor water pressure (but seems common in kuta). Room safe would be a plus.

Good location close to shops/cafes/bars/beach. No real noise. Rooms are a good size & are a reasonable standard with a nice balcony. A/c fine. Bed comfortable. Curtains good. Wifi generally good. TV good. Didn’t try the food. Lovely Bali vibe with water features and traditional styling. Free bottled water and toiletries are supplied, which is great. Tip: don’t pay 215k for a taxi from the airport; pay under 50k by using Grab when you’re ready (which is avail via this app under “taxi”). Compared to older reviews, you can see that the hotel has listened and made improvements.

Rooms could use a good deep clean. Booked for a double bed however got two singles, otherwise very nice.

Great location, not too close to the clubs but still walking distance, lots of places to eat nearby. Pool was lovely, turtles that live in the water feature were adorable 🐢

My stay at the Bali Summer Hotel was good. There was a day when things were not good but overall the value and location for money were good. Cost wise this hotel is on the low end, but the room was spacious, and the decor was a bit dated but functional. The staff was good and helpful and the location was great. The place even has a pool. The only issue I had was with the internet connection. I impressed upon them before I arrived that I wanted a fast and reliable wifi connection. Upon arrival it was fast. Was loving it. However, the connection broke at about 2 o'clock am in the morning and wasn't fixed until late the next day. The good thing is I was able to find a great place to hang out during the day complete with a pool, music, food, and an outlet with fast wifi. So, the issue was solved. In conclusion. the Bali Summer Hotel is a great value for the money and they were apologetic for the Wifi disruption.

Had to look at a few rooms as 1st 2 rooms were very smelly (mould) and sheets were looking grey. Last room was perfect. To be honest you get what you pay for and this hotel was pleasant to stay in and the staff are lovely.

The Aircon wasn't as good and at times it was hot for me in the room. But overall all it's ok the staff came and fixed it.

The first room I got wasn’t I expected (the water was bad) and I had a complaint due to the picture of the room in the booking. Com is not the same as I got, after that they got me the same room in the booking.com.

In some rooms the internet works bad, or even disconnects. Rooms are in quite a bad state, highly torn down, some doors almost won't open and locks don't work well, anyone could open my door cause lock is torn down and don't fit well. Some of the facilities are just not maintained at all.

Great staff, cute nice hotel with pool, fountain and Balinese style, comfortable bed, and nice wifi, but not in every room, very nice and cozy balcony view.

The mini fridge was a dirty.

The location was great, you couldn’t hear any of the traffic. Staff were very friendly and kind. The bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned every day plus complimentary water.
