The toilet in our room was definitely not at the same level as the room / hotel. It was super small, ugly, unconfortable, and had an awful sewage smell. The restaurant at the hotel was pretty expensive, with a tax and service rate of 21%! which is crazy for Bali! Didn't like the breakfast service, as you could only choose from pre-set breakfast options. Also, you had to pay for drinks! unheard of! (they only provided tea and pot coffee for free.) You definitely need to rent a car or use Grab to move around the area. You cannot walk to restaurants, etc

The hotel is beautiful, with a great garden and pool. The room was OK. Good restaurant with many options of food (loved the burger, not so much the mie goreng as it seemed reheated). The complementary transfer service was useful, but its frequency was very limited.

The room was totally fine and clean but it wasn’t just as “fancy” as the rest of the property.

Whole resort is amazing. The pool area is great and clean. Good yoga classes (not included). The restaurant is very good, amazing food and drinks. Relaxing atmosphere with a fireplace in the evening. Location is really “hidden”, but with a driver it’s easy to reach uluwatu temple an different beaches (for that they offer free shuttles every day).

Only complaint was that our aircon in the vip suite smelt very mouldy and musty. I hope it gets changed because we would love to visit again.

Loved everything about this property. Yes, it was a little further back from the business of Uluwatu but worth it. Peaceful quiet clean Balinese. Breakfast menu was great. Plenty of vego vegan choices. This resort is small boutique and gorgeous.

I had tropical visitors to my Lumbung Cottage room day and night. Large lizards during the day, something that raided all of my bags during the night. It was a bit unsettling, I did not sleep well.

The Lumbung Village area was so relaxing and serene! Daily yoga was fantastic - especially how Daniel played music at the end. The spa services were phenomenal and a great price, and all of the staff were exceptional. Rich, in particular, made our visit memorable by helping us secure a fantastic spot at a local beach.

Wow! Must stay if your planning to come to Uluwatu area! We booked this last minute, we were trying to get to the bingin beach area orginally but very glad we stayed here. It’s so easy to get to the beaches with the hotels free shuttles, grab or a scooter. The service was 10/10. All the staff were so helpful The hotel itself is really clean. Great options for breakfast. Super relaxing stay.

Bathroom size was quite small and we had an issue with the drain in the bathroom which ended up flooding the whole of the bathroom. It was resolved so the issue only remained for a day

Gorgeous hotel and gardens. Lovely pool area and cocktails! Staff really were amazing, so attentive and helpful with questions and advice on travelling around Bali! Hotel really is hidden so transport needed to leave, may or may not be a good thing depending on travel arrangements.

Next time we would prefer to book one of the lodges, as shower was rather small and it was sometimes difficult to bring fresh air into the room (e.g. to get humidity out). Overall still worth coming back :)

We had a very good time at S Resorts Uluwatu. From arrival to departure everyone was always trying to spread a welcoming and easy feeling. We felt very comfortable with the staff and at the location leading us to even book one day more than planned. The wonderful massage, the very calm environment and the available gym had their share in it :) Definitely a very nice place to come home to after a day around Uluwatu! Or you could easily spent all day here too.

Bathroom was a little small. Toilet and shower were separated by a curtain. Blue bath towel left a stain on my white skirt.

The staff were friendly and helpful with all our needs. The facilities on site were amazing including the yoga and massage. One of the best massages we’ve ever had! Scooters were available on hand. Breakfast was delicious. Room was quiet and clean. Would stay again!

Breakfast is not a buffet. We are forced to choose an option from a menu that is presented. However, it is well served and of good quality. You can't do anything without transport.

Very nice hotel, very friendly and attentive staff. Very good food. Pool area very nice and quiet. You can rent a motorcycle and surfboards at the hotel.

The pools, gym facility and restaurant were great. The food (and menu) were awesome and we regularly frequented the restaurant at the resort for lunch and dinner. The staff were amazing and so accomodating. Very kind and caring. The free shuttle to the popular beach spots and towns were a lifesaver for us and saved us lots of money and hassle in trying to organise our own. The room was comfortable.

We were really lucky to get a free upgrade to a Lumbung Villa, it was spotless! The breakfast here has a variety of options and is delicious. It’s the perfect place to stay if you don’t mind getting taxis around. The free shuttle to the beach was really handy.
