No restaurant (it's planned) and no fridge in the room is annoying. Location isn't great, but not far off the main strip and they have cars to drive you down for free if you don't have transport. Breakfast is served at their sister resort - I'd skip this entirely, the place is so sad and the food is awful. Go to one of the cafes down the road.

Nice place but a bit soulless in design, very quiet located at top of a hill (but no view), very attentive staff that care about your opinion. Pool was very nice and the resort is pretty much new - I'd say it needs more guests but then you wouldn't have the place to yourself! Good base for touring the island (they also offer tours).

I was not a fan of the bathroom outside. However the bathroom is beautiful. You will need water shoes to shower. There are little walking creatures in the rocks. I saw two of them every time I showered. Also the restaurant is not on the property.

Breakfast was ok. There was a small variety to choose from. I ate the same thing everyday. I didn't like the fact that you could only get one drink. The location is a little far from everything. However if you rent a scooter than you will be fine. Be careful with the scooters. Roads are narrow and in some areas in bad conditions. Now it was a nice quiet location, except for the animal noises. The room was beautiful and I lke the little touches of flowers and the Happy Birthday to my husband decorations on the bed.

The place is on the top of the hill, so if you don't drive a scooter or are afraid to drive it's a sweaty and heavy walk haha! Luckily we've made it to the top every time and again Gede helped us out by driving us up and down the other night so we could have some dinner.

We want to thank Gede (I hope we spell it right) in special. He was the only one speaking fluently English and was so helpful and friendly. Without him we probably ended in the wrong harbor and missed the boat. So again, a big thank you for Gede. We really appreciate all you've done for us! 🙏

Bit far from everything, and the road there was a bit tricky, but with a scooter, it is fine! When we stayed the place was still.under construction so the TV didn't work in one of our rooms and the ac was not cold. Other than that really cozy place to have a time away from all.

Very new resort so no restaurant as yet. Staff very attentive and shuttled us from our hilltop accomodation down to the nearest restaurant. Superb location for a quiet relaxing holiday. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Pool side massage was easily arranged daily for me. Heaven on a stick.

It is a little bit far from life, and needs a motorbike. 40 minutes the Kelingking beach to one direction and 40 minutes the diamond Beach to the other direction.

It is a very silent place. The swimming pool and everything is clean. I said to my wife that sometimes a 4 star hotel has much lower quality. We loved to stay here. The staff are kind, we got a lot of information.

Dirty glass in the bathroom. Need to go to the "office" to get running water each time you need it. Not very enticing and clean surroundings. No sign board on the road. No stairs or ladder to access the swimming pool (impossible for young children, elders or mobility impaired to access it). Breakfast served at the boat base with construction works. "Minimalist" breakfast priced at IDR 45,000.

This was my first time in Nusa Penida, so I’m sure it’s common but the roosters would sometimes wake me up between 3~5am. I didn’t really mind it because I was able to go right back to sleep, but others might care. I thought it was a nice immersion into the culture. :)

The property is absolutely gorgeous! They’re pretty new, so there is still some construction going on, but nothing disruptive during early morning or evening hours.

Requested for the refund since the payment had been made via the booking.com and stay did not happen. The hotel agreed to refund but asked me to wait for a month. Now, it has been 3 months since the booking date and I have not received the refund yet. I messaged to the property for multiple times after one month time (in February) and no progress. No reply from email as well. I wish they could be more responsive on the status and booking.com to be able to sort out this sort of issue.

The stay did not happen because there was only room available for our group (4 persons) although the booking was done for two rooms and made the payment via booking.com. The property asked us to cancel the booking.

It was brand new and very clean! The staff was great! The manager (Gede) was really nice and helpful. Speaks really good english and works hard. He also knows a lot about Penida and it’s history. We had some great tips and conversations with him during our stay.
