The view is fantastic, the Bungalows look exactly like on the pictures as well as the pool area. It is very clean. The place is super peaceful and very quiet. (One can hear a roaster and some dogs from far, but it’s not bothering, since the bungalows aren’t situated directly on a street it is super quiet compared to other places)

I wouldn't call this beachfront, it has a lovely sea view and is only roughly 5 mins walk down to a little beach. The steps and entrance into the place is very difficult to access especially with lots of luggage. If you are a chronic over packer like me, or you have mobility issues this is something to bear in mind. The island often experiences power cuts, so a few times the room was left in the dark without air con. Knowing this happens often, it would be a good idea for them to have a torch or something in the room, so you're not wandering round in the dark at night.

Staff were second to none, really helpful and friendly - even offering moped rides so I could see more of the island. The rooms are big and clean, it's a small place with only 6 rooms which means the pool/breakfast area is always calm and quiet.

Property is quite far from the beach and main areas and transport is not always easy.

Nothing! It was super enjoyable being there. The stairs getting down to the bungalows are definitely difficult if you have mobility issues or heaps of heavy luggage, but no problem for us and well lit at night.

Small, secluded set of only 5 bungalows. Big pool with a lovely view down to Tamarind Bay. Lovely room with mini fridge, great balcony view and outdoor shower. Staff were lovely, the whole vibe was very relaxing. Breakfast was so generous and delicious!

Best mattress. Super clean & spacious bunglows great balcony and recliners . Can see washed linen hanging. Fabian, Tiwi & Rene and others are very helpful. Amazing location n views. Strong airco if needed.nice pool. Outdoor shower. Good breakfast. Stayed 6 nights and definitely coming again.

A bit far from Mushroom Bay for restaurants, but many of them offer free taxi.

Amazing view, 5 min away from Playgrounds surf spot. The owner is also super helpful to make our stay memorable!

Only the access from the road down the hill/steps to the property was a little tricky, it was very well lit up at night which is great to see where you were going!

Our 5 night stay at La Gautch Bungalows was fantastic. Gorgeous bungalows, beautiful views, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious!

The shower wasn’t the best

I didn’t like about it but they way to go down to the property is just a bit sketch.

The view of this place is breath taking!! I loved to hang out at the balcony everyday so that I could see the VIEW! Staff was really really nice, I loved their food so much me and my husband ate almost every night. I fell in love with their breakfast banana pancake, I even asked them to make one at dinner time, they found the way to make me a breakfast for dinner. It was very nice of them, I really loved how staff is so friendly and loving to guests.

Getting to the location was tricky and there wasn’t anyone to greet us and help with heavy bags after a very long flight and commute over.

The facilities were great, the rooms perfect for what we needed, the breakfast every morning was beautiful!

Access to property is terrible with lots of stairs and staff doesn’t help with luggage- not ideal for families with luggage. No water provided in rooms. No breakfast if you leave early.

There is not hair dryer at the room. Bed was so soft and pillows were so thick. But it depends on the person how you like the bed :) Also if you need tea or something to eat, reception is closed around 8-9 pm.

The view was incredible. The staff were so kind and helpful. We had to go for scuba diving early, they prepared our breakfast earlier than their schedule. They have scooters to rent which makes site seeing easier. There is one one beach so close by walking distance.

AC is directly blowing to the bed, cause us masuk angin. Steps to the property are are not great if you have bad knees.

Very welcoming and accomodating owner. She is also a great cook. Best Mie goreng on the island . Love the outdoor shower.
