Hotel is a little bit outdated besides the lobby. The garden was very swamped with mosquitos. The food was very average except for the chinese restaurant within the hotel.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is great, not too far from Borobodur and Prambanan and literally around the corner of Malioboro. Lobby looks beautiful and the garden looked very nice as well. Chinese restaurant within the hotel was very nice. There was live music every evening.

Overpriced for what you get compared to the beautiful boutiques restaurants you can get in Indonesia - you feel you are paying for the convenience, but a good bet if you have an early flight.

Close to airport, a short shuttle away (but you need to give 72 hrs notice). The restaurant food was actually ok a good variety for the breakfast - a better option given it’s out of city location. Wine was pricey (almost as much as the room and no pricing for alcohol until the bill). Friendly staff, clean and decent rooms.

Hotel has a beautiful green garden with swimming pool and fishpond. Room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Friendly staff who also took our preferences into account regarding the hotelroom. The famous Malioborostreet is only a 6 minute walk as is the supermarket.

The bathroom needed some renovation

The hotel itself is nice, the breakfast was good and we enjoyed the pool as well. For being a five stars hotel maybe needs some renovation work especially for the bathroom. But overall we enjoyed our stayed considering Java standards.

We didn’t get the room we asked for. They could’ve inform us in advance. Ended up paying more for upgrade to suite room which comes with access to the Lounge. Unfortunately, 50% of the time there were no staff serving.

Suite room - Exceptional. Location - Very good. Breakfast - Variety 9/10, quality 7/10. Staff - Very good.

There is a masjid nearby and they use loudspeakers when they pray. Generally little problem, but early morning (around 4:00).

The room is big and comfortable. The location is at the city center and convenient, especially vicinity of a supermarket. The staff are very kind and efficient. Generally, clean atmosphere.

The shower was not working well. There were no enough pressure of water. Also, we had a misunderstanding with the deposit in the credit card because of the English.

The staff was nice. The swimming pool, garden and the food were awesome! We tried massages in the spa and they were very good too. The gym is small but enough.

I wish the gym is facing the lush green garden so i wont get bored looking only at the screen in front of the treadmill. Also adding netflix would be great too.

Hotel is well located in walking distance from main sights. Good breakfast with tasty fruits. Pool area is well maintained, completely shelters you from sounds of the surrounding city. Room was good, comfy beds, lot of pillows but a little worn down. Strong wifi, helpful staff. Liked the lobby design

The weather... OK, there was a prolonged thunder storm which curtailed our wanderings around the city, and there's nothing that the hotel can do about that!

The hotel is very central, not far from the train station and the Royal Palace. It's also close to the central market and busy shopping streets. Our room had a balcony which was great for sitting out in the late afternoon. There's also a good bar down by the pool/garden area, and several dining options if you don't want to go out.

There was a slight smell of humid in the room. The shower heads must be replaced or repaired from time to time.

Room was big, bed was comfortable, very good breakfast with a lot of choices, staff very nice and helpful. The hotel lobby, bar, restaurant and garden were very nice decorated and well maintained.

Restaurant for lunch and dinner - a la carte could be better but thats not that important. Beds not quite so comfortable.

Excellent hotel like an oasis in centre of town. Breakfast is exceptional, staff is great.. Pool and outside nice :)
