I would have given this property a higher rating, but, the strong smell from under the kitchen sink was really off putting. I did mention this and a staff member came to clean but used a lot of chemical to hide the smell which made feel 🤢 Sad to say, but I was glad to go! Thankfully it was only a 2 day stay 😌

The car's parking area. The bend is too narrow. I believe everyone will have the same issue as me, particularly if you have an SUV like me or even bigger than it. You'll see there are so many scratches on the wall which i believe caused by someone's car had grazed onto it.

The bed sheets were stained, the decking around the pool area was in a bad way and the restaurant had next to no food available for lunch. Definitely suggest walking 5 minutes down the road to the local food stalls, we only stayed one night and wish we had realised what was available on our doorstep.

Location was fairly central in Semarang, only a 15 minute cab journey to the airport. The apartment was a decent size, had both hot and cold water and the aircon worked well. The infinity pool available on the roof was great and offered fantastic views of the city.

All facilities looks old, bed is not comfort, Air Conditioning is slightly noisy. It was used private studio apartment which is not Hotel. No Car Free parking since you need to pay additional cash money IDR 15,000 for 24 hrs if you park your car in apartment.

don’t be fooled by the images! It totally disgusting, has not Facilites, bed sheets aren’t even white and Clean, nor are the towels. bathroom is the worst I’ve seen in my whole stay in Indonesia. I’ve been to 4 different hotels and locations and paid far less for so much more!

When we saw the pictures of the the room, we thought we will stay in two bedroom apartment with living room in middle but actually it's two separated studio type apartment with connecting door. So there is no living room no kitchen but there is an electric portable stove with cutlery. The shower hose in both bathrooms was leakage. The access to parking area is very narrow so need extra carefully & the guest need to pay the parking fee.

Location in middle of the city & the view to Simpang Lima area. It two separated room so there are two separated bathrooms with water heater.

We were kind of surprised when we arrived at the property because the receptionist said that I have to call the owner of the apartment to get the key. This really stunt us for awhile. But then the receptionist helped us to call the owner. We waited not too long until the owner arrived and handed the key to us. He did not expect us to check in early as in the booking he said that we will arrive at midnight. I really don't understand where he got that information from because clearly when I made the booking I mentioned that we will be arriving at around 12:00 - 13:00 in the afternoon on the 25/03/2022. While he escorted us to the room he mentioned that he has not finished cleaning the bathroom. When I looked at the bathroom there was water outside the shower. But because we were in a rush to go out then I told him just forget it. Before we go to bed and when we undo the bed we saw the bedsheet has spots (like is not properly washed). But since we were too tired we did not bother to do anything. But I really did not feel comfortable at all to sleep in that kind of condition. My fault was that I did not mention about this to the owner because my thinking was that I will never come to this place ever again!! And also there was not cleaning service during our stayed. He said that if we only stay for 2 nights there will not be a cleaning service included. So with this experience I would suggest that Booking.com should look into it seriously as this will reflect to the company's reputation. Quite frankly this is our first time booking an apartment through booking.com. We usually stay in a hotel. There should be more information about booking an apartment so at least customers will be prepared what to expect. And the last thing I would like to ask is it a normal practice that the owner asked for the payment to transfer directly to his account but not through booking.com?

We did not have breakfast in the apartment. We always go out for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
