This place is out of this world. The view is just breathtaking, from the very moment you arrive and get to your bamboo nest, at the evening and at the morning, it’s just amazing. The shower and restroom are private to your bamboo house, clean and right in the nature but well taken care of. From the added service the property give you access to, we had dinner at our unit. It’s brought to you by the staff from a nearby restaurant. We also had massage in the morning that was top notch. The driver to Amed was the brother of the owner and was perfect, the car, the drive and the talk were very pleasant. A lovely stay, we wish we had stayed longer to properly enjoy all Sidemen has to offer!

The cottage is in a truly enchanting location, and it is as open as it can be, while also protecting you from the elements and prying eyes. You can see the sunrise over the ricefields from your bed, you have every comfort of a modern accomodation with the feeling of being a part of nature. Gede and his wife are also really nice and will help you with anything, from activity recommendations and organization to food and drinks. Really enjoyed our stay here.

It was absolutely fine for me but guest should be aware they need to be agile enough to access the bungalow and bathroom outdoors.

Absolutely incredible stay in the middle of the rice terraces. Unique and very special bamboo villa with stunning views and sunrise from your mosquito netted bed. I was stunned. And every detail is provided for. I wish I stayed longer. Super wonderful staff and great food. Gede goes above and beyond. As a female alone as well I felt completely looked after and safe.

It is an open aired property, so bugs can get into the property, but that’s all part of the properties charm! One night a fire fly found its self in our room which was a crazy and amazing experience! Big nets to surround the bed so no need to worry as much when you’re sleeping. Also, wildlife can get noisy on the night, so do bring earplugs if you struggle with nighttime noise!

Location directly in a rice terrace with a stunning view. Very peaceful setting full of character and natural beauty. Service from Gede and his wife were exceptional, and were always at hand to advise, support, and answer any queries. Gede organised everything for us, delivering meals to our door so we could enjoy our brilliant bamboo chalet. Could not recommend enough for people to stay here for the experience

It was perfect. A flashlight/headlamp for guests to use on the path at night would be a nice addition as it would be brighter than a cellphone light.

Gede and Ayu were kind and helpful, the house was stunning, beyond our expectations from photos. Truly a magical experience and the kindness from the family made the stay extra special. We will be back.

Gede was an excellent host, including his wife Ayu and brother Putu. The villa was spotless each day and food was wonderful. We hope this remains a beautiful little secret spot for us in Sidemen. Wish we had more days enjoying the property.

Amazing place to stay. The units are unique. I would have loved to stay for longer. Sidemen is still keeping its authenticity and is a lot calmer than other parts of Bali. I visited in raining season and this unit is the best place to stay while listening to the rain. You also have electricity and good internet connection. And it was clean.

I stayed at Sandag Hill in Sidemen and loved every moment. The staff was amazing, picking me up and driving me there hassle-free. The place is simply beautiful, perfect for disconnecting and relaxing. I highly recommend it for a peaceful escape.

The view is just AMAZING! The villa is located in the middle of rice fields, so you wake up with an impressive view, surrounded by nature and local farmers (very friendly and nice). It's definitely a great experience. The hosts are very nice and friendly and they took care of offering a nice experience for us.

Be aware that there is no A/C. But you don't need it since there is a constant breeze.

One of the best accommodations we had in Bali. Stunning location in the middle of rice fields, beautiful villa, which we had all to ourselves. We ordered dinner to the villa, which was very convenient. The communication with Gede was amazing. He also spontaneously organized a Rafting tour for us, which we really appreciated.

Fantastic location, great view, you really sleep amongst nature. Only thing is during the day it is not private as many farmers working the rice fields. Sidemen was a nice village to explore and Gede was a great host, very very helpful. He went above and beyond.

- The amount of bugs might bother some people, but I personally don’t think it’s a big deal. They also provide mosquito net & lotion so you’ll be okay! - The outdoor bathroom is beautiful but adding some cover would definitely make it more comfortable to shower.

It was such an amazing experience to stay there, the view was breathtaking, the bed was comfortable, and the service was excellent. The place is as beautiful as I expected, I really recommend everyone to stay here if you’re looking for serenity, tranquility, and the ‘other side’ of Bali experience. You’ll wake up feeling awesome with the beautiful sunrise too!
