One of the rooms was not ready at the regular check-in time, which was a bit unfortunate because we wanted to freshen up before an appointment in the city in the afternoon.

The location of the hotel was the reason we booked it, it's very near the old centre of Batavia and also not too far away from the airport. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was nice.

AC didn't cool as well and hot water was irregular. Spa staff was unprofessional and couldn't communicate in English. Towels were are little old.

Great Location, Good cleanliness overall and Very good effort on Service by the staff. (except the Spa Staff). Breakfast was fairly decent.

I am a non smoker and they have hybrid floors which combine smoking and non smoking in the same floor. I do not like the hallway it reeks of cigarettes smoke

Pillows were very uncomfortable to sleep on. Breakfast wasn't great - needed a working coffee machine and more options (e.g. nice fruit and yoghurt). There was a smell of drains each morning in the bathroom

Staff were very friendly. Nice modern hotel and room and bathroom were spacious. Area surrounding felt safe. Pool and gym were good.

The location of the hotel is next to Kota district in Jakarta( former colonial area of Jakarta). There are many places to visit from Kota( museum, City hall , restaurant). A good place to start your trip in Indonesia.

Unfortunately no bathrobes or pajamas were provided in the room. And no shoe horn. The embankment in front of the hotel is pretty noisy in the evenings due to local karaoke or something. Windows of my room faced the courtyard so I didn't hear any noises from the street, but better don't forget to take earplugs with you just in case.

The location is great if you come to visit Kota Tua historical area. It is also a good choice for those who come for some events in Ancol (as I did) - the hotel is located in 7-10 minutes by a bike/car from there. Delicious and various breakfast (buffet) with egg and waffles/pancakes stations - very good option because there is almost no cafes around. The room was very clean, the bed and pillows were awesome!

Beautiful hotel and room in historic location. Had a range of free mini tours of the area. We couldn't do them but it's a great idea as the city itself isn't well organised for tourists.

- communication: I contacted the property two days before arrival and got a response when I was already checked in - cleanliness: there was a used, dirty ice cream spoon in our fridge - synthetic linen give me sweaty nights

Fantastic location 5 minutes walk from old town square. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Beautiful big rooftop swimming pool.

The area around the hotel is not very lively in the evenings, even in the Old Town Square which is weirdly cleared of people at 9pm every night. So it's an inexpensive taxi ride to get to the livelier parts of the city.

The hotel is very convenient for visiting Jakarta Old Town which is what we wanted to do. The rooms are spacious and well equipped and the staff very helpful. It is great value for money.
