NetherlandsThe quality of the food could be improved. The dishes sounded quite complex and sometimes the ingredients didn’t much very well. I would advise to review it with the chef. In addition would be great that they provide refilling water. Only in our week stay we consumed more than 20 plastic bottles. I hope they have a recycling system.
We absolutely loved this place. It is quite new, all the facilities were very pretty and the personnel was very caring. We really enjoyed the pool and the restaurant. The room was big, the bed comfortable and there was room service every day. You had buffet for breakfast plus a la carte service, all included with the price of the room. The view btw was amazing!

This hotel is in a great location, not far from Canggu centre about 10 mins by bike. Has a good selection of cafes/restaurants nearby as well as shops and a great massage place within walking distance! The pool and view are amazing! The staff are so helpful and friendly. It was my other half’s birthday and they came to the room with a cake and sang happy birthday to him! Which was lovely! Special mention to Dede who always made an effort to say hello to us and remember our names! The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is also very tasty! Lovely design, lovely space. Nothing to complain about! Thank you for a great stay!

South AfricaThe staff were exceptional! They attended to my every need and were super attentive and happy to help. The WiFi wasn’t working properly so the front desk staff went out of their way to help and even offered for me to use their personal hotspot. Food was wonderful and DeDe and Devi were always ensuring guests in the restaurant were taken care of. In my opinion the best thing about the hotel was the staff. Views were also amazing as you have the rice terrace view. Hotel is new so it’s clean and comfortable. I’ll definitely be back!

The hotel was brand new and the restaurant was very pretty. We had a very nice view from a rice paddy and it was located very well, not too far for the main road Batu belong, so it was easy to come and go to restaurants, shops and beach clubs.

The hotel was really comfortable, rooms were incredibly clean, pool and spa looked nice and had a small gym which included dumbbells which I wasn't aware of but came in handy when I woke up early. Beautiful views of rice fields and sunset. Would definitely return if I go back to Changuu.

We had a wonderful week at the Valstar Hotel in Bali, Canggu. This brand new property is impeccably clean and features a stunning pool overlooking the rice fields. Its prime location is close to all essentials. Our room was spacious and pristine, with a very comfortable and large mattress—although I found the pillows a bit too hard, but that's a matter of personal preference. The bathroom was modern, beautiful, and functional. However, there was a minor issue with the water drainage in the shower that could be improved. We appreciated the option to have breakfast in our room without extra charges, and the food was excellent—hats off to the chefs. The hotel offers live music several times a week, providing a delightful atmosphere. All staff members were consistently smiling, available, helpful, and kind. Special thanks to Abdi and Gede, two exceptional employees who showed immense care and kindness toward us. We highly recommend this hotel and are eager to return!
