Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaA bit far walk (15 mins) from sapporo station, not that near a subway line or restaurants. Hard to navigate underground, a new underground passage with few signs. But the bath and price made it worth it
In hotel bath was so nice. Good water. Small but practical to have a soak before bed. Club room was a good upgrade, breakfast on the top floor with the cute was nice.

AustraliaThe bed was too hard for our liking. It was not possible to buy just a coffee at breakfast: it was either the entire breakfast package or nothing.
The room was very clean. The staff were friendly. The location was good. The pyjamas were very comfortable! The 7-Eleven was connected to the hotel.

SwitzerlandThe hotel is new. It is located near by the station (around 10minutes walk) in a quiet place. The personal is really nice and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. The public onsen really modern with all the things you need(brush, shampoo, soap, conditioner…) and the opening hours wide.

Thailand- The hotel located near Sapporo Station with just about 5 minutes walk. - The hotel was new, clean and equipped with high-graded materials and equipment. - The minimart was next to the hotel lobby with a direct access door. I could bought a drink from there without the need to go outside the hotel. - Staffs were helpful and friendly. - The room was spacious. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. - The luggages I deposited before check-in had been readily moved into the room once I came back for check-in in the evening.

AustraliaThe room was modern and really big when compared to other hotels that we have stayed at in Japan. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Being less than 10 minutes walk from the station meant it was very convenient to travel around Sapporo. The breakfast had a good selection of Japanese and western cuisine so there was something for everyone. We would definitely stay again.

United KingdomA few simple/basic vegan friendly options at the breakfast buffet. Bread which doesn't contain dairy and a milk alternative would be a start.
The quality of this hotel for the price is outstanding. Great rooms and some of the facilities (like the brand new onsen) felt like they belonged in a 5* hotel. Staff super friendly and accommodating as always in Japan.

Hong KongWe got a very small room, the smallest on the floor and shaped awkwardly. I don't think the booking advised me of that anywhere, but it was still a great stay. For exploring Sapporo, the location is good but not great. Since we drove to different ski resorts each day in the vicinity, Emion was a good location for us.
Great hotel with very helpful and polite staff. I enjoyed staying there as a base to drive to diffetent local ski resorts each day. The onsen was very comfortable and the included breakfast was good.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful, spa was awesome. Great location close to Sapporo station and 7Eleven attached to the lobby if everything else is closed. We got in late and hadn't eaten all day so that was clutch.

Room is bigger than usual Japanese hotels, great for families with many luggages. Looks exactly like the pictures. Onsen in the hotel comes with 3 different pools (40 degrees, Milky and Cold pool). Hotel is clean and directly connected to a 7-11 at the lobby. Near to Sapporo Jr station, exit 15 in the underground pass is the nearest to the hotel. However, walking on street level is much nearer.
