The only thing that we did not like is that the room we were staying in did not have proper curtains / blinds and looked out into the communal garden and this was a negative as it made it feel much less private.

The owner is lovely, and we are both very appreciative that he was willing to stay up late to accommodate our check in quite late in the evening due to delays in our travel. The room itself was wonderful and the villa is located in a great position near the beach in Jurmala. Parking is available on site, and this was really useful as it allowed us to come and go as we visited Riga and the wider area.

Beautiful, eclectic and authentic experience staying in the traditional villa in Jurmala, just 2 minutes away from the beach. Enjoyed so much to watch the sunsets. The room was very spacious, with gorgeous wooden windows overlooking a well kept garden. There were all the facilities we needed, a kitchenette and a washing machine. We were very pleased with the parking near the villa. Lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. Just 30 minutes walk to the main pedestrian street in Jurmala.

Not much space in the bathroom and shower water could be a bit hotter, had some issues with Wi-Fi.

The terrace, the BBQ, the location, the apple tree, the fridge, AC. The hosting family Ainar and Rita are fantastic, kind and very approachable people. Had a little chit chat with them every other day. They were always checking if everything is fine and even allowed us to use the spare parking spot for our visiting friends. Free late check-out was a great final bonus for us.

Everything! The location was fantastic, so close to the beach, beautiful grounds, lovely hosts, and fantastic apartment. We travelled around Latvia staying in 4 different places and this was our favourite. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to return here!

The accommodation is easy to reach, just off the main road that goes through Jurmala and a two-minute walk to the long, long beach. The place is calm, no noise at night. It's one of those older wooden houses where the owner himself still lives. The room was big and nicely furnished, the kitchen was well enough equipped, even with a washing machine. We loved the little espresso maker and the packet of espresso coffee powder as well as salt, pepper and sugar. Thank you! There's a round table in table and two cozy chairs in the room where we could sit and eat. It's no problem to park your car in front of the house (front yard) or leave your bikes in the back yard as there is a big wooden fence with a wooden gate around the site. We had a laundry rack that we could use to dry a few things in the garden, and there's also a nice little wooden terrace with chairs, an outdoor sofa and table. It's only a ten-minute walk to the train station of Dubulti, that's why we went by train to Riga (half an hour and quite cheap).

The bungalow is really cozy - it almost feels like home. The host is very helpful, knows the area from head to toe and has a lot of fascinating stories! In short, this is a great place with a great atmosphere and people!

The owner met us upon arrival and made sure heat in the bedroom as well as in the kitchen have been turned in appropriately. We went out for lunch. Unfortunately, when we came back, it was still quite cool. I checked heaters, one in the bedroom, was not even connected to electricity, heat for heater in kitchen was turn to very small number. It took a while to make both places warm and comfortable. Unfortunately, there were more problems. The water faucet of the kitchen was damaged. A jet of water swept the whole washing area. It was hard to wash dishes and keep everything dry The shower had its issues with warm and hot water. Coffee maker was little out of oder. Overall, for value, what we paid for night , more comfort would be more appropriate.

Location is expectional. It takes just a few steps to get to seaside. Very nice and cosy garden. Nice decoratins. Quietness. As it was a huge storm, the owner suggested moving the car more inside of the garden so it could be more away from old trees.
