Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There is no elevator, but the lovely girls at the reception helped us carrying the luggage to our room.
Walking distance to Cenang beach, and there is an Indian restaurant nearby where we had delicious food. Very calm neighbourhood. Very kind receptionists (as are all the Malaysians)

They only give one towel per person.
This a newer building. The rooms were simple but clean and comfortable. The room has a refrigerator so you can keep cold bottled water to quench your thirst. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach and main road that is filled with restaurants and shops. Since the hotel is not on the main road it is quiet which we enjoyed. We utilized the pool to cool off. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The pool was a little green, saw them cleaning it and we did get in. Probably the time of year maybe.
This little hotel is tucked in a quiet neighborhood off the main road. It's a 10 minute walk to Kalut Bar and a great part of Cenang Beach. There is a really good Indian restaurant between the main street that is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The room was big and clean. The staff were amazing, friendly and always asked if we needed the room cleaned or any supplies.

Pool was green not very inviting.
Lovely big clean room. Friendly helpful staff. Location was great to get to beach and and bars used taxi to get back to room as it was located down alley way.

A hidden gem in the heart of Langkawi. We loved everything about this place. It was comfortable, clean, it was close enough to where the action is but still quiet. The staff is lovely and always ready to help. Would definitely recommend to any type of traveller.

Great location (5 min walk to boulevard). Free parking place, friendly staff. Nice and clean rooms with 2 bathrooms, good air conditioning and WiFi. Pool has a nice size. Cook inequalities and wash machine available at top floor.

Place was quite hard to find, although near the main street it is quite inside some side road so it is diffcult to locate especially if you are driving by urself

Approach road is bit narrow but manageable.
Very well maintained. Neat and clean. Something that is rare at hotels in Langakawi.

Access and location difficult for first timer. Toilet can't close properly. Found ants and a cockroach in the unit.
Facilities and room were good. Average size 2 bed homestay. Near to main amenities and beach.

Honestly? 20/10 We traveled around Malaysia a lot and in this hotel was our last stay. The staff was super nice and informed us beforehand, that only payment by cash is available - due to the good location though we put our luggage there and went 7 mins to the next ATM. The room and the facilities are new and it was very clean. Towels and sheets had no stains or holes, the AC looked like it gets maintenanced, there was no dust on the TV and the room smelled neutral. There's even a small balcony and the staff was so helpful and friendly - they even woke up early so that we can check out at 6 am as we had to go to the airport. I hope they keep up the good work - we felt very comfortable :)

Just the pool wasnt ready to swim... The color not good.
The place is just 5/8 min from the beach, and we love it because we felt like in a little village outside of the hotels and animation of the beach and out of bad smell. We felt always super happy to go back to our hotel. All is new and the staff is so adorable

Completely new accommodation with very spacious and and clean room and premises. Comfortable beds, great shower and a nice and clean swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful people, good walking distance to the main street and the Cenang beach, even closer to the Night Market. Quiet in the night, no mosquitoes bothering us (they have an electric repellent in the rooms). Very safe location. I would definitely stay again.

Not a disadvantage really (one shoud pay for tranquility:)) : 8-10 minutes walk to the beach down a well-lit road. For us it was not a problem at all.
Don’t be afraid of few reviews! It‘s a brand new gueshouse with impeccable cleanliness and service. Spacious rooms. Not a tiny pool. Dead silent at night (it is located in a nice residential area).

It is not possible to pay by card so you need to bring enough cash. (It might change later)
I was skeptical when I booked as there are only a few reviews but it exceeded my expectations. The room was super clean, the staff was absolutely lovely. They made sure I have everything I need. The balcony is well separated from the others and it was nice to have breakfast there every morning. The location is perfect and quiet, and the center is only 5 minutes walk away.

No fault of the hotel but the location is not listed on Grab ( the nearby Aneeda Inn is though )
Very clean, super friendly staff. Hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Northern end of Pantai Cenang.
