    - The dryer machine keep malfunctioning & ate my money at least twice, there was no way to refund them from the laundromat itself - I had the impression that it was really close to the LRT station, but that's not exactly accurate - I wished that there was smth like a snack vending machine or somewhere to buy food in the middle of the night

    - I liked that the room service came to clean every day - The front desk helped me dispose my luggage with the broken wheels - Very comfortable

Nothing in particular. Just that some of the utensils and bathroom floor was a little stained.

The location and the accessibility to the hotel. Spacious and quiet.

Poor WiFi. Room could be equipped with even very basic dishes and cutlery. There are only two cups in each room. If you want to use something more (even a spoon) you need to book a kitchen (a deposit is required). There are self service washing machines and dryers, but not enough of them. There are always queues. It’s also quite expensive - 20 MYR for washing + drying.

Great swimming pool and well-equipped gym. Good location - a food hall and a convenient store just across the street. There are also small shopping mall and a metro station nearby.

It was a bit inconvenient to use a wash machine because I didn't understand where I should put the coin into paying by cash. Sometimes, the wifi condition was not good.

Clean and reasonable price to stay. For me, it's cheap to have lunch at the cafe on the ground floor. It's easier to access the station. Even though It was raining, i could go to the supermarket or food coat near the hotel as there was a roof.

The rooms were smaller than we expected.

The bathroom shower does not have a glass door to cover the shower area. Only a glass frame that covers half of the entrance so water will come out and reach the sink area so need to avoid showering in the middle.

Very strategic location. Close to UM campus. Really suitable if have any event in the vicinity. Rooms were comfy and nice. It was clean too. Also close to KL Gateway Mall. Opposite the lobby got like a so called lifestyle mall with convenience store etc.

I had booked the rooms a few weeks earlier through Booking.com, but noticed that the rates were half the price on the day of our stay when checked again on the website.

We booked a day's stay at Komune Living on the last day of our week-long trip to Malaysia. The location is excellent, offering paid parking that needs validation at the reception. The check-in process was efficient, and although the rooms are small, they meet all the necessary requirements. Please note that the hotel does not provide toiletries, so you may need to purchase these; fortunately, many shops and restaurants are nearby. Conveniently, there are water dispensers on every floor, which is a nice touch instead of providing water bottles in the rooms. They have an infinity pool and a view deck on the top floor which is has some stunning views

It would be nice to have a set of fork and spoon in the room. The floor waste in the bathroom was not draining properly; ended up showering with your feet in a pool of water. Yikes.

The breakfast buffet (extra charge) was pretty poor. Quality of food was not the highest with Nescafe coffee, omelette with littles taste and a bunch of heavy Malay dishes (chicken, noodles etc.). Also, I felt the shower cabin could have been cleaner - a bit of dirt marks on the tiles. Having said that, for the price, it was a good enough place to stay for a night after 36 hours on the planes.

Comfy rooms - pretty good value for money

The room door is not soundproof, very noisy especially my room is near the lift. And the Toilet has very strong smell. The Free wifi was like 56K.

I little bit of hassle when going back to the hotel from MRT station. There should be a shortcut but it is not. Therefore I use Grab instead. no MRT at all

"An Exceptional Stay with Room for Improvement: A Review of Komune Living Hotel"

🏨🌟 Komune Living Hotel is an exceptional place to stay! I had the pleasure of staying there for 5 nights and 6 days, and I was absolutely amazed by the top-notch facilities. However, I do have a few concerns that I believe could be improved upon. Firstly, I noticed that the reception staff could be more helpful and supportive. On my second day, I had to call the reception multiple times to request a towel, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, when I inquired about nearby spas for relaxation, one of the receptionists advised me to check Google. While I understand the rationale behind this response, as a receptionist, it's important to recognize the crucial role of being the main point of contact for guests and being knowledgeable about the local establishments they may inquire about. On a positive note, the room itself was perfect, with complete amenities. However, I did find the pillows to be excessively firm, and it would have been great if the cups were changed or cleaned regularly. Furthermore, the small garbage bins weren't consistently cleared, and the toilet seemed to always be wet. Lastly, during our early check-out at around 5:00 AM, I approached the receptionist (a slim, medium-tall gentleman) for assistance. Unfortunately, he appeared visibly tired and sleepy. I kindly asked if he could help us find an alternative way to book a ride through a service like Grab since they didn't accept cash at that time. However, he simply responded, "I can't help you. You'll have to wait until 6:00 AM." While I fully understand and respect the hotel's policies, I believe there should be some flexibility in exceptional cases or events to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for guests. I sincerely hope that the reception team will undergo further training and improvement so that all guests, including VIPs and visitors, can enjoy an amazing and hassle-free stay at Komune Living Hotel.

Minor gripe about the toilet where there's a depression on the floor just in front of the drain so the water doesn't drain entirely properly. Not sure if they have bigger rooms but the space was a bit small but it's fine for solo or couple travelling

The facilities, the staff and the entertainment is top notch. With a good location and budget price this place really gives you bang for your buck.
