Beautiful hotel, great location- very walkable from train station and centre of delft with shops and restaurants. Very beautifully designed hotel & rooms. Breakfast was delicious. Most comfortable stay in a long time- bed was also super comfortable. We rented bikes from the hotel for the day- excellent way to see the city! The hotel also held our bags before and after check in, so we could keep exploring!

What a beautiful property! The architecture and design of the hotel are stunning. The room was spacious and modern with a huge window overlooking the canal that passes in front of the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and diverse. The common spaces were inviting and warm. The staff were kind and professional. So lucky to have found such an amazing place to stay.

Unfortunately there was some unpleasant smell in the room, probably emanating from old or not properly cleaned pipes in the bathroom.

The fact that we could only stay three nights.

Absolutely loved the ambience! Historic building. Beautiful room and view. Very friendly and helpful staff. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and they spoiled us with balloons, chocolates etc! Such a nice touch! Thank you again!

We did have a slight blip at the beginning of our stay as we were not provided with a superior room with a bath which was a pity seeing as I had made my booking well over six months before our visit. We also had a problem with a constantly flushing toilet which kept us awake most of the night. Having said this the next day we were moved to a room which fulfilled all our requirements and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, so the problem was solved.

We particularly appreciated the helpfulness of the more than courteous staff. The breakfast was always well presented and provided enough options for us to enjoy a good start to the day. The room was spacious with a lovely canal view and was always spotlessly cleaned daily.

Maybe this is local, but I would send someone coughing and sneezing home to recover instead of sitting in reception. Other than that very good.

Loved it all.

One of the best stays anywhere! The hotel in a repurposed arsenal represents excellence throughout. Breakfast, included in the room rate, was wonderful. We were sorry to leave. Note that Delft is a great location in itself and conveniently located for side trips to Rotterdam and Den Haag.

The property was delightful. We arrived after 8 pm and the staff were incredibly helpful with directions to carpark. They also were helpful in the morning with phone calls to our car hire company. Nothing was too much trouble. The Hotel is on a very good location to everything.

Calm, relaxed atmosphere. Staff on hand when needed but otherwise unobtrusive. Perfect balance. Very stylish decor and fabulous breakfast.

I don't think there was anything we did not like. There could have been someone tending bar during the week, but we managed on our own. Everything was JUST LOVELY! We will definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Breakfast was wonderful, and we didn't even order off the menu. The lobby and breakfast room were ideal to sit and enjoy the canal RIGHT BESIDE US!! We loved the location and the parking lot for the car. I had mentioned that it was my husband's 60th birthday and retirement celebration. When we came to our room, we found balloons and a lovely card for the celebration. That was SO NICE and unexpected.

The staff was very helpful.... Even printed off directions for trains in a nearby town. The room was comfortable. Breakfasts were very good and the location is very close to but the train and the heart of the historic area.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Wincent from UK was exceptionally friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. We followed his recommendation to visit Leiden and it was excellent. The location of the hotel is superb and the decor and conversion from an old arsenal is exquisite. The common areas/foyer is beautiful situated by the canal. We played with the provided board games and enjoyed cocktails and tea every evening. Excellent sound proofing too. And the best beds I've ever slept on!

Very centrally located. We walked easily to numerous restaurants, the Delft porcelain factory, and to the train station for day trips to the Hague and Rotterdam. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of items on the buffet and the availability of cooked items at no extra charge. The staff were very helpful with directions and with restaurant reservations. The room was spacious and very clean.

I loved this hotel. The staff were charming, room comfortable, decor in public areas very nice. Great position in the town, lovely watching the boats pass by from the lounge area.
