Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsThe hygiene was bad in the room. One of the days they forgot towels after changing. Bring earplugs because it's at a main road so you can't leave the window open. Sadly no air-conditioning so it's hot in the room. Place in general needs to be renovated. Photos on booking looked way better.
It was on a walkable distance from the nearest Metro station and Rotterdam Alexander. Breakfast was okay.

TurkeyThere were cobwebs in the bathroom. The wardrobe and hangers were rubbish. The furniture was old. It is fine for a single night stay.
You can only get so much service or comfort at this price. The balcony was enough for smoking. Otherwise you have to go downstairs.

AustriaThere are limits to the amount of electricity, the water limit, the bathtub faucet is blocked on purpose. when you get to the room, you are warned not to consume water, electricity, and even phones are prohibited during the evening, so no battery on the phone. The cleaners entered the room after half past one in the morning without knocking on the door. . a disaster!!

We were given an appartment with two bedrooms, which is good but without enough pillow and blanket. Sinxe apartment was not used for a long time, it was dusty and hard to breath. Staying in Campanile was just a disappointment. Never again.😔😏😒

United KingdomVery basic and in need of an update - the room looked very tired and potentially mould on the bathroom ceiling. Found small hairs in and on our bed and our bed sheets had rips in them. Give the standard of facilities, the increased weekend rate didn’t warrant the price.
Bed was comfy, and location surprisingly quiet given it was next to a main road. Staff were helpful and accommodating.
