The rooms are quite small (which is natural for a Citizen M hotel). Did not like the pillows. Small desk. Could not open window. I-pad system to use all technicals (blinds, curtains, airco, lights, TV) was a bit slow. Television did not work properly. Staff could not fix that and offered another room (which I declined for the night) and was rewarded with a drink voucher.

Location was very good. Close to the city center, the river and public transportation. View on the old harbour was nice. Breakfast was excellent. The bathroom is provided with a very good rainshower. The bed is large. Large storage drawer under the bed. Blinds works very well.

Although I did not want my towels to be cleaned daily as well as the room, due to environment impact, due to furnishings and the set up, the room definitely needed daily clean. The sink was tad too small to use to be honest.

Location is brilliant - in the middle of all the attractions. Very easy to find and easy to reach by foot, tram or metro. Room was very compact; but it has everything you need. Bed is extremely comfortable and HUGE and I think that is all you need from a hotel. If you are after the traditional meet and greet, concierge etc then this is not a hotel for you. Its very user friendly, modern, quirky place with some brilliant art which I really enjoyed. Great place to work as well and staff were so friendly and chatty and cool. Arrived much earlier than the check in times but they were kindly enough to offer me the room, which was great experience and a bonus. I love the ipad that you use to manage the room mood, TV, curtains etc - now I want one for my home.

Room is modern and compact - perfect for a solo traveler, might be a touch cozy for two.

Excellent location - right off Rotterdam Blaak station, with connections to rail, metro and trams. Close to many bars and restaurants. Breakfast was reasonable, and quite good. Very comfy bed. Loved the view out to the old harbor. Repeat customer having stayed here maybe 7 years ago? Very well maintained, would absolutely stay again.

I always love CitizenM's clean, no nonsense room. The bed is very comfortable, the window is wide and allows plenty of sunlight, the shower and toilet are impeccably clean. It is a home away from home.

I would have liked more surfaces to store our belongings. We only stayed a couple of nights so it wasn't too much of an issue but for anyone staying longer there is limited storage space

VERY creaky door to the toilet / shower (and seems not only in our room as we heard it from some neighbors) - guys, WD40 has been invented long time ago just lube it! ;)
