Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaThe beds were a little bit uncomfortable, but we were exhausted and didn’t notice much.
This was the cutest park I’ve ever been in, and that says alot coming from Canada! It looks straight out of a movie. It’s super clean, with lots of options for food, and breakfast nearby. We only stayed one night but to enjoy the park I would stay longer.

FinlandThe showers were VERY dirty and honestly kind of disgusting. Also the fact that you only had 4mins of warm water was weird since you can’t possibly wash your hair in that time.
The cabins were very nice and it was easily accessible via public transportation. Check-in and pur were very easy and we had everything we needed in the cabin.

SerbiaThe accommodation was rather far from the city and one needs around 1 hour to get to the city center using public transport. Additionally, there aren't many restaurants, shops (or a grocery store) within walking distance from the accommodation.
The accommodation is located in a forest and the surroundings are beautiful. We were accommodated in a small cabin with 2 bunk beds. Everything was clean including the shower and toilet facilities. There was a mini-market next to the reception where one could buy drinks, confectionaries, snacks, sandwiches, and pastries.

GermanyYou will receive what has been written on the website - It was the first time we stayed in a camping hut. It reaches our expectation and requirement. For an expensive city like Amsterdam, I think, it is affordable and you stay in nature - this is also a plus point. Don't take a bus which direct from the hotel, just walk or go with a car to the tram station (approximately 1,4 km away from the hotel) - you can use Amsterdam ticket (9 Eur/ day - or 15 Eur/ 2days and so on) for transportation.

United KingdomTowel set was costly, if you can bring good otherwise can rent one.
Room was clean, with all amenities advertised. Staff were helpful. Rental bicycles were good. Camping site was wonderful. Bus stop is outside the campus, 3-4 mins by walk. Buses around every 30 mins. Mini store at the reception, it can provide for very basic needs as it is far away from city center. There are different types of rooms, please select as pernyour need. They all have different amenities.

LuxembourgThe toilet sanitary is not clean and not that big for a whole camping. The prize was extremely high for the small room of only 4 beds we had, without toilet or kitchen.
The Camping itself had a supermarket, playgrounds and bike rental.

Czech RepublicA kettle for tea/coffee would be nice but it was not in our cabin. Maybe it was available for some more expensive cabin. The reception with shop - where it was possible to get coffee, tea and something to eat - was open only until 17.00. It would be nice to have the possibility to have coffee/tea outside the reception opening time. The accommodation was 1 hour far away from Amsterdam with public transport (bus) and the bus company was a different company than the transport company in the center of Amsterdam, so we were a bit confused with the tickets. There is a machine in front of the reception where it is possible to buy daily tickets for Amsterdam, it is also possible to buy tickets directly in the bus using the credit card (doing the check in-check out system when you enter and when you leave the bus). I hope this information helps other travelers.
The accommodation was very nice. Our cabin was comfortable, there were 2 beds, we had our heating inside, a small fridge, a table with 2 chairs, I was happily surprised, the beds were very comfortable. The toilets and showers were clean and not far away from our cabin. The cabin was very silent. We could not hear other people in different cabins/houses. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The camping was near a beautiful forest and it was possible to rent bikes. For people who don't want to stay in the city and want to enjoy the nature and a calm place, I really recommend the place.

ItalyInside the cottages there is not even a closet so everything is a bit messy. The shop opened at 9 a.m. and, for those who go out earlier to explore the surroundings, it is a bit inconvenient.
The camping is surrounded by nature. There are bunnies, cats, ducks and swans wandering around the cottages. The colorful cottages are cute and comfortable. There are many communal bathrooms so you never risk finding them occupied.

United KingdomThe lack of kettles for hot drinks. There was a coffee machine in the reception area/shop. But it meant that you could only have a hot drink when that was open. Also, I didn’t receive my email for pins etc as we arrived after the office closed and their emergency number didn’t work with my UK sim meaning we were kind of stuck/stranded but luckily a few more guests helped us.
The staff were happy, informative, helpful and such a good group. The location was lovely and peaceful.

ItalyThere was no place inside the camping to eat something in the late evening, and the minimarket was closing to early to take something.. By the way, the real problem was the distance from the centre of Amsterdam: on booking they tell 2.5km from the centre, infact they are about 20km instead.. I was also upset by never receiving any answer by email or booking messages before the trip, so that I even thought it was a fake reservation.
The place was great, into nature. I'm glad there was also the coffee shop collaboration in the morning. It was really good. In general, it was a positive experience, but to do maybe in a better season
