When we arrived the downstairs of the hotel was under construction. After travelling from the uk to this hotel upon arrival I was told there's no toilet for you to use and to walk to Mcdonalds to use theirs until our room is ready in 3 hours. Asked what time breakfast was as I'd like to book in for it and was told they are not providing breakfast because the dining area is under refurbishment and was told there's plenty of cafes around the corner and to go there in the morning.

Room was quite spacious, shower was really good. Tea and coffee facilities were provided. Location is great, plenty of bars and restaurants a few minutes walk from the hotel. The station is a short walk from the Hotel.

I cycled to the hotel and arrived a little earlier (check in is at 4pm) and I managed to leave my bags with reception. After a long day of cycling I just wanted to change my clothes, but unfortunately there were no toilets at the hotel lobby, so I had to go to McDonald's to get changed. Also the hotel is next to a casino and it didn't always look safe to walk there alone. As a non-smoker I wouldn't want to sleep in a room where someone smoked in it. The window is big enough for people to sit on the window sill and smoke without worrying to set the alarm off. Cigarettes were left outside the window and the whole room smelled like it. After asking the receptionist for good dutch restaurants around the area, she recommended a street called Stadhuisplein and all restaurants (such as coconut) ended up being bars, that turn into clubs in the evening which was very disappointing. I just wanted to have a quiet proper meal after a long day of cycling.

It was bigger than my other hotel I stayed the day before. Bed was comfortable.

The hotel seems to be in the process of a much needed remodeling. The room we had the shower / faucet switch didn't work.

Convenient location. 10 minutes walk from the station and close to shopping center and restaurants. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

The bathroom rather small, so difficult to maneuver. It was rather noisy late in the night with music and other guests very loud from the rooms adjacent to our windows. It was a shame that breakfast was not included in the hotel price, even if it was discounted in another location.

The beds were comfy, location central. A bonus having coffee in the room.

It’s old hotel so I got some problem in flushing the toilet first, but employee is very kind to teach me what technique to do when flushing it. And the room mist spray in room is too strong.

Noise from other rooms - someone opposite with window open laughing and shouting for ages and they wern't the only ones. It may seem snobbish but better to pay a few euros more and not have to listen to people who have no consideration nor care of other guests.

Bed was not too confortable. Lack of ventilation in the room, needed to sleep with window open. Some street noise but had quality sleep.

Location near train station, metro and bus Room was confortable Also had table which I could use to work Tea maker was also pleasent after a cold day. Could leave bags at the hotel and explore the city. Bathroom clean and very functional. Historical building with Hotel loby and reception remarkably preserved. It is very worth the visit. I liked that even with a standard room you get a nice bath, the bed is very nice, the view was nice but not like wow (maybe on friday or saturday then ppl go out and you have some entertainment to watch :D) Staff were very vriendly in the Hotel as well as on the phone.

On Friday night rooms next door were having parties in the room and did not respect the staff request to be quiet and let other guests sleep.

Location is central and easily accessible. Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms are outdated bit functional and practical.
