Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWhen we arrived the downstairs of the hotel was under construction. After travelling from the uk to this hotel upon arrival I was told there's no toilet for you to use and to walk to Mcdonalds to use theirs until our room is ready in 3 hours. Asked what time breakfast was as I'd like to book in for it and was told they are not providing breakfast because the dining area is under refurbishment and was told there's plenty of cafes around the corner and to go there in the morning.
Room was quite spacious, shower was really good. Tea and coffee facilities were provided. Location is great, plenty of bars and restaurants a few minutes walk from the hotel. The station is a short walk from the Hotel.

United KingdomI cycled to the hotel and arrived a little earlier (check in is at 4pm) and I managed to leave my bags with reception. After a long day of cycling I just wanted to change my clothes, but unfortunately there were no toilets at the hotel lobby, so I had to go to McDonald's to get changed. Also the hotel is next to a casino and it didn't always look safe to walk there alone. As a non-smoker I wouldn't want to sleep in a room where someone smoked in it. The window is big enough for people to sit on the window sill and smoke without worrying to set the alarm off. Cigarettes were left outside the window and the whole room smelled like it. After asking the receptionist for good dutch restaurants around the area, she recommended a street called Stadhuisplein and all restaurants (such as coconut) ended up being bars, that turn into clubs in the evening which was very disappointing. I just wanted to have a quiet proper meal after a long day of cycling.
It was bigger than my other hotel I stayed the day before. Bed was comfortable.
