Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

UkrainePillows were not comfortable. The room had only one mirror, and in was in the bathroom, pretty distant from your face, so for putting make up, for example, it's not an option.
Very nice hotel, bed was comfy, I appreciated having both an electric cattle and coffee machine. A lot of shelves where you can put your staff. Great dim light is triggered by motion around the bed, so if you want to use bathroom at night, you don't need any additional source of light. Their shower gel smelled lovely. I had a pretty view on the church.

United KingdomMy room 211 had clearly just had a water leak repaired as there was staining in the ceiling. This should have been repaint/repaired. There was a ceiling panel above the toilet adrift/missing, a light hanging down above the sink and a extractor vent hanging out of the ceiling above the shower. I shared this with front of house staff and they took pics to show the manager, hopefully these issues will be fixed before the room is rented to the next customer. The wall mounted light above the sink has clearly never been cleaned as this was covered with a thick layer of dust. I also bought this up but nothing was done about it whilst I was there. The bedside lamps were also dusty but not as bad. I was offered a free breakfast for the inconvenience, but my breakfast was already included in my stay. I wasn't offered another room but this may have been because they may have fully booked. No sound proofing between rooms/floors/outside.
Was in a great location in town. Had free washing and drying facilities. A kitchen area with microwave, toasted sandwich makers and washing up facilities, with plates, cups, glasses and cutlery available to use. The front of house staff were great.

TurkeyIt was all good so this is very minor but I found the room a little bit cold and I couldn't adjust the thermostat to make it warmer.
The room was clean and bright and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Also I was given an upgraded room. There was coffee, drinking water and fruit available. The location was excellent, in the town center and a few minutes walk from the station. The absolute best part was the breakfast at Dille and Kamille opposite the hotel - every part of it was excellent quality and absolutely delicious!

BulgariaI didn't like that it was a bit cool in the rooms and that the central air conditioner was at 21 degrees and it was blowing really cold and I left the air conditioner off the whole time. Even though I went to the front desk and said it was cold and could they turn up the air conditioning and the receptionist said they would turn up the temperature but the temperature was never turned up. The only thing I didn't like was that the rooms were cold.

ChinaThe fridge cannot function nicely. The room is not soundproof enough to hear outside and neighbors. Also I saw twice silverfish on the wall and on the bed.
The location was really great. The staffs are very nice and kind. They help to clean the room everyday. The hotel also has a little kitchen with some plates, forks and a microwave to use.
