The bedrooms are quite small for a five star hotel. The menu cost for breakfast as stated above. Our room had not been cleaned one day when we returned to get ready for the evening. We left the hotel at 7.45 am and returned at 5.30pm and it had not been cleaned, so no fresh towels etc, so we had to go to reception to say we were not happy. Not what I would expect to need to do at a five star hotel! They did however send somebody to clean it straight away. The drinks menu was different for cocktails in the Spring Brasserie restaurant to those in the cocktail bar. The waiters seemed a bit put out when we asked in the cocktail bar for one not on their menu.

The staff were really helpful knowledgable and friendly, although the service in the Spring Brasserie restaurant was quite slow at lunch and in the evenings, however their breakfast menu had an amazing selection. Maybe Spring Brasserie breakfast items should be priced separately. Not everybody wants to pay the total price for a croissant and coffee only.

Beautiful hotel in a leafy green area next to the Oosterpark, perfectly located with many places within walking distance ( or cycling ) The staff are super helpful, welcoming and attentive. The breakfast is delicious with lots of healthy options. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel and if we visit Amsterdam again we would definitely stay there!

rooms are very small,not enough closet space for 2 people, the service at the spring cafe was very slow, we went to have dinner in the last night waited for 15 minutes and there was no talk talk to or seat you, went to the room and had room service

We booked a Standard King and while it was well appointed, with very comfy bed, it was very small.

Absolutely fantastic offerings at the a la carte breakfast both in variety and quality. Definitely recommend the pancakes!

The premises are fantastic! Location, rooms, architecture, service are all beyond the expectations. As a frequent traveller so far Pillows Amsterdam is my favorite among all the Small Luxury Hotels! PS: Breakfast is to die for!

Additionally, the gym and spa facilities, particularly the complimentary hydro bed massage treatments, added a luxurious touch that enhanced our overall experience. A notable mention must be made of how efficiently the staff handled our booking mistake. Everything. Exquisite experience in every way. The location is perfect - away from crowds, in a park setting, yet close to all of Amsterdam. The building and rooms are inspired. The front office staff is outgoing and knowledgeable and always smiling and helpful. The housekeeping staff is wonderful - extra care given to the smallest of details (and the lotions and sleep spray are fantastic!). The doormen are first class - always there to greet you with a warm smile, make sure you have an umbrella, always remember your name. And the concierge, well they are unparalleled. I have never had more lively conversations than I had with Stefan, Michael and Joeki. Their enthusiasm, good cheer, and vast knowledge is remarkable. I miss having coffee and bubbles and black truffle chips and cookies in the living room talking about a wide variety of topics. And the staff at Spring are delightful - and as happy as I am when “my table” is available! And then there are the professionals you partner with from private drivers to captains of vintage canal saloons.
