Wonderful setting in the countryside close to the city of Maastricht. Stunning historic mansion with modern comfortable rooms. Very kind and helpful staff. They suggested we had breakfast in a separate classic beautiful salon so our group of 11 people could sit together. Our stay exceeded our expectations.

The main area for rooms is quite modern, so very surprised there was no aircon. It was exceptionally hot and a wedding party were celebrating so we were not able to open the windows for some fresh air. We will definitely return, but only when it is cooler

I don't recommend the rooms at ground level since the rooms on higher floors have such beautiful view. In fact, it does not make sense to charge them the same price and they could be two different room types. The hairdryer in our room was not in good condition and needs to be replaced. The outside plastic got sticky over time and collected all the dust/dirt. Unlike our first time, the check in took quite a bit of time (around 15 min). Would be great if there was a second receptionist to support.

This was my second time in this hotel, since we loved it here the first time. The hotel and the surroundings are really beautiful. It's such a pleasure to have breakfast or dinner at the terrace when you have a nice weather. The personnel are always nice. The rooms are sufficiently large and clean. You can fit a laptop in the safety locker.

The menu in the bistro style restaurant was limited, the food was pleasant and reasonably priced, but the service was dreadful. The waiting staff had no idea what they were doing and to order and be served our meal took 2 hours with frequent reminders that we were still waiting on both evenings that we ate there.

Location was lovely, rural but easy access to the city centre via the park and ride bus service which was a pleasant 15 minute walk away. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was very nice. Ensuite shower was particularly spacious. Bed comfortable and all very clean.

- The room for disabled people turned out to be regular hotel room. The bathroom could’t be accessed in a wheelchair. The bathroom also lacked features that would aid someone with a disability. - Could not pay with American Express, which was previously possible. Any place that wants to attract people who really spend should accept American Express

Check-in was a bit chaotic; needed more staff. Room didn't have air conditioning or ventilation (except by opening window!). Double bed was two singles linked together - not always the most comfortable. Rooms made up very late in the afternoon - I declined as not convenient at that time.

It is a beautiful place! nice park around it to walk. Staff was helpful. We arrived in motor bikes and they offered (without asking) to park in a safe spot.

The breakfast offered online a la carte seems to be unusual for the staff, we had to wait about an hour for service, even a coffee. The property and overall experience is def worth it though.

I had an amazing stay with my husband and our two dogs. I was pleasantly surprised with some gifts and treats for the dogs :). They also provided two very comfy beds for my furry friends. The surroundings are amazing and it's a small drive or train ride to Maastricht and Valkenburg.

the price is a bit to high for this type of hotel. we where expecting a more classy old country house type of hotel. some older parts where so but some parts where a bit plain.
