I didnt eat breakfast. I like the free offerings in the room and the comfort of the room (2) even though i could hear people coming and going. The restuarant food is amazing and I really appreciated the staff professional and professional. Knew the menu off by heart and could speak to the most popular dishes and what wine they suggest to match the dishes.

    Nothing not to like.

This was a special occasion for us and we lashed out for the best room we could - worth it. Balcony, small kitchenette, coffee machine with fresh pods, King bed, beautiful bathroom, just stunning. Our friends stayed in a slightly smaller room and whilst still lovely, we were glad we had gone for the bigger room. Refurbishment of this old Convent has been lovingly done with a real eye for detail, quite eclectic and interesting. We enjoyed pre-dinner drinks in the very stylie bar and of course, dinner at Ada - this is a must!

Light in bathroom was annoying-on all night bc tricky to turn off-maybe needs an explanation. Room was quite little but gorgeous.

Loved the ambience and the beauty of the Convent. Staff were super helpful and friendly/chill. Food was amazing at Ada.

Convent Hotel was a great place to stay in Auckland. The building and rooms are full of character and interesting decor. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom were well equipped with very good showers. The complimentary crisps etc were much appreciated and the free parking was a bonus. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and came to our aid by finding and looking after our pack of travel documents which we accidently left behind. With the city centre only a 10 minutes drive away this a lovely place to stay if you visit Auckland.

It was quite noisy being near the restaurant, but didn't go all night which was good. Also the parking was taken up by restaurant guests, parked in the accessibility parking in the end.

Love the styling and decor. Really well curated and quality bedroom furnishings. Didn't get much chance to use any thing as we only stayed one night

Sadly the restaurant is closed on Sunday night and Monday, no inhouse breakfast option and the bar was closed both nights - easy enough to offer a continental breakfast and honesty bar as many boutique hotels do internationally.

The room, the decor, checking in and the housekeeping was great..

Very cool & chic space. Location is a bit more out of the way than I expected to explore Auckland.

The location is a bit out of the way to really explore Auckland by foot. I tool several long walks to explore the city myself, but I didn't realize when booking that this neighborhood is more ideal to stay in with a car. The Queen room also felt a bit smaller in person than it looks in the photos.

I loved the interior design of the hotel and artwork throughout. The space felt cool, hip, yet still comfortable. The staff was helpful and very friendly to welcome me and having Ada just downstairs was delicious for wonderful dinner!

The kettle in the queen room possibly needs a dedicated spot (unless I missed it) but that’s all I can fault.

The ground floors rooms are a bit noisy being close to the kitchen and bar. Given that the hotel was a convent, it is inappropriate that some of framed art mocks Christianity.

An old school analogue room with a door key and a plug-in heater. A beautiful historic building sympathetically converted to a hotel.

It was hard to find certain things like cups for coffee etc... More information on facilities would have been useful. I think also too it was close to being a higher rated hotel than it currently is and my suggestion would be to offer room service or at least a way to order breakfast for the next morning.

I loved the quirky/cool art, the environment was warm, inviting and felt like a very cool space. Cool but also like you were at home.

I think housekeeping could be improved - no milk or teabags left after 2nd night had to go to the kitchen in the evening! Room wasn’t sorted on our 3rd day

Loved the place rooms were small but efficient - need a shelf in the bathroom and somewhere to put the jug - (off the floor)

I’ve stayed here a few times and this was the first time I’ve stayed downstairs right near Ada. During the day I didn’t find this an issue at all but it was very loud in the evenings, trying to get to sleep (I was travelling for work and had a couple of early starts). There is little to no sound proofing which is a shame.

I love the character of the property, the easy parking and great location!
