It would have been nice to have enough toilet paper for the whole stay. The light was not working in the fridge.

Large, comfortable apartment with high-quality finishes. Central location, 10 minute walk to Mercado dos Lavradores, bars, restaurants, cable car and large Pingo Doce supermarket. Nice balcony with view to harbour. Immaculately clean. Comfortable beds. Plenty of storage space. The owner was very friendly and met us on arrival and departure.

Everything! The host family were extremely accommodating and kind about our check in & out times! The apartment is in an excellent location, with free parking. Apartment was spotless and had everything you could need and more. Felt like home away from home 😊

Everything was fine

The apartment is very comfortable: big and clean. Close to old part of town. Private parking available. We have asked for a cofee machine and the owner has provided it. Thanks a lot for that!

One of the outside doors didn't lock.

The location is great, being just outside of the city, the apartment was very clean and the manager/owner very responsive if we had any questions. Underground secure parking, utensils and cutlery to serve every purpose, and good WiFi with a smart TV. The balcony view overlooking Funchal and the ocean is lovely to enjoy.

This is a wonderful place in the perfect location in Funchal. From the balcony you can see Funchal beach / harbour and the cable car. The flat offers every comfort a person can need and the underground carpark is perfect for the car. The communication with the friendly owner of the flat was excellent. This is the place to be, when staying in Funchal.

Some construction noise early in the morning but that can't be helped.

- 100€ refundable deposit in cash upon check-in. Not a major problem, but not exactly sure why this is still practiced when Booking.com already has my CC details and hosts can probably charge that one in case of damages. - We stayed in mid-march and it was quite cold at night. There isn't any heating or AC. Only thinner blankets available to cover at night, nothing like a duvet or something thicker. - The bed wasn't the most comfortable. It probably needs a new mattress and to tighten some bolts. Maybe change the pillows as well.

Everything was perfect! The hosts were super friendly and the apartment is so beautiful and well located. I would stay there again! The hosts welcomed us with wine and biscuits :)

The bathroom could do with updating. A walk-in shower would be very beneficial for people with mobility issues.

older, but functional and clean nice balcony perfect for sunsets parking in the building cozy flat great bed washing machine, dishwasher etc - very helpful for longer stay
