Beautiful hotel next to fashion street surrounded by vine bars and restaurants with walking distance of to the city center. The room was big and stylish with lots of interesting details and king size comfortable bed. The breakfast was simple but tasty and located in a cozy living room. Hotel is highly recommended!

The location was excellent! Right off Avenida de Libertade and everything there but also close to very good local restaurants and bars. The room was wonderful. Large and very clean. Maybe the biggest bed we have ever slept in. very comfortable too. Very good breakfast!! Very helpful and kind staff.

Unfortunately we didn’t get the bedroom cleaned while we were there (only for 2 nights). The cleaning lady was a bit confused about the signs outside of the room. In the morning we had the sign to not disturb and we changed it to please clean the room before lunch time. We went out and came back in the evening with nothing cleaned (also let the key in the entrance). We got new towels when she came knocking and talked about it, but we were not up to going away from the room since we were quite tired. I would suggest that the signs have different colors to avoid confusions (green and red for example). Value for money could be better. It was a great place to stay, but the price was a bit too expensive. I’m not sure it is enough differentiation that justifies the price and I will consider other places before looking at this one again.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was quiet and delicious. Complementary drinks was a nice surprise for us. Big room with a good bathroom and a nice entry room. Great location, right next to Avenida da liberdade, but far enough from the noise even during the Santos populares party.

We stayed at three different locations on our recent trip to Portugal and this was probably our favorite hotel. It's a hidden gem only a block off the one of the main roads in Lisbon so it's close to everything including lots of shopping. We booked the suite which was very well appointed, had a nice terrace and was reasonably priced. Everyone on the staff was incredibly friendly, always accommodating and helpful with recommendations for dinner and tourist attractions. The breakfast buffet each morning was wonderful as well. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel and hope to stay there again in the future.

Shower curtains but it’s not too much of a bother!

The location of this hotel is fantastic with most sights within walking distance or the metro station right on your doorstep. The room and bed are HUGE and spotless, with a very comfortable bed and everything you need. The toiletries are beautiful (from Molton Brown) and the shower heats up immediately. There is a lot of choice for breakfast and is super delicious! Above all, the reception and housekeeping staff at the hotel provide a world class service and make you feel like royalty.

The photos really don’t do the Hotel justice it’s been beautifully restored and taken back to its original state where possible. Even if you think you’re looking for somewhere a bit ‘cooler’ you won’t find a more stylish, relaxing and welcoming hotel in Lisbon. The staff are incredible. Best bed I’ve experienced in a long time as well.

Situated a little way from the centre of town, but just off the main road and only a short distance from the Metro so no real problems getting around.

Traditional hotel with interesting period features, but with all the facilities you would expect from a modern one. The staff were exceptional: friendly and helpful at all times, but with a genuine concern to make our stay perfect. We struggled to remember a hotel we have stayed in that had better staff from reception to concierge to doorman. The free afternoon tea and cakes were a welcome bonus when returning after a full day exploring the city.
