Nothing to fault!

An outstanding apartment! We felt right at home and had easy time enjoying the property's garden, relaxing and cooking, but also working from the living room. Perched just over historical Funchal, this is an excellent base for exploring Madeira! It is 7 min drive to the town's promenade, just off the south highway which connects you to anywhere on the island in less than an hour, and a walking distance to the famed botanical gardens. The premises are spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything is new and fresh. The apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen which we used to cook breakfast and then enjoyed it in the garden. There are only two flats in the whole building which have a garden, and this one was better. It comes with a complimentary parking space which is in a spacious and secure yard and easy to use. I would definitely stay here again for longer when I get the opportunity to go to Madeira again.

First of all I had a great communication with the host, I received all the information that I needed before and during the stay. The apartment that we booked have a fabulous view to the ocean and city. The location is near the botanical garden, and maybe I can say that is a bit far from the city center, but this is the beauty of it, as it's a bit far up the hill, the view is fabulous and also it's a quieter area. Speaking about the quiet, the soundproof seems to be good as we weren't disturbed by neighbours. The apparent is looking very nice, new furniture and equipped with everything that you need. A big plus is also the private parking.

The noise level during the night from the neighbours was a bit of an issue a couple of nights in a row.

The property was excellent, the host was very responsive when we needed and provided us with relevant information. The flat was clean and we felt very welcomed.

Not the fault of the hosts but it was very noisy with construction across the street.

Great views from the balcony. Very helpful host. Free parking was nice. Very steep hill if you want to walk into town but easy bus ride or taxi ride back up the hill. Would recommend a car for visiting other parts of Madeira.

Only two little remark, the coffee machine did not work properly and there was a construction site next to it but it was not very loud.

There was absolutely nothing negative. Nothing, nada, nil :)

Simply EVERYTHING! The appartment, the location, the host, the view!!! The appartment is located just next to the botanical garden quite high above the city center with beautiful view from terrace. The building is some 2 years old so everything looks fresh and new. The appartment is very light and spacious with terrace to the south so living room can become very warm during sunny days. The furnishings and equipment is modern, nice and fully functional. The appartment is very well equipped, probably the best I ever stayed in! Everything was nice and comfortable and staying there was a just a pure pleasure. Alex, our host, was very nice and kind and gave us absolutely excellent introduction. His sister, Andreina, supported us on the phone and she was greatly helpfull and kind, too. This was one of the best, if not THE best, appartment I ever stayed in!

Noisy if you'd like to sleep with windows open. No hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. The standing towel rack is OK for only small towels. A proper wardrobe would be nice to store clothes and belongings.

Very good contact with the owners. Andreina and Alex are great hosts. The apartment was clean and equipped with all essentials, including wash machine, dishwasher,iron, Free parking. We had an apartment with a beautiful sea view overlooking Funchal. Good location to move around the island. Bakery 200m away.

Not much to say except for (in my opinion) a car is a must!

It's hard to give a 10-star rating but it surely would deserve it. Everything was close to PERFECT! Many thanks for the accommodation, it was everything we needed for a 5 days vacation. Location is up on the hill very close to the Botanical Garden. We have rented a car (highly recommended) so distance to the city center was not really an issue. Without a car it might be challenging, to say at least (not necessarily for the property, but for entire island) Kudos to Alex who welcomed us, he is a great guy!

If I had to pick something, the couch isn't the most comfortable, but this really didn't impact our stay. As others have mentioned, there is currently construction very close to the apartment, which begins around 8-8:30 until around 17:00 during the week. It didn't affect our stay, but something others might want to note. Unfortunately, there is nothing the hosts can do about this, so it doesn't impact my review at all.

I can only echo what everybody else says about this apartment - it is fantastic. As other people have mentioned, the hosts are incredible: so friendly and helpful. They have thought of everything; all the small details are catered for. Some notable positives: fast WiFi, powerful shower, spacious apartment, ample storage, excellent laundry facilities, well stocked kitchen, smart TV, secure parking, airport transfers... the list goes on. In summary, if/when we return to Madeira, I would definitely stay here again.

Sometimes, it was very easy to hear the neighbours in the next apartment in the mornings, which made it hard to sleep in. Never a problem during the late hours, everyone respected the rules about no noise late at night. The bed is quite hard, which my husband loved but was a bit rough for me.

Fantastic location, bus-stop right outside with plenty of buses. New, nice and clean apartment, very spacious with a great view over the city and ocean. Excellent hosts. They showed us around the apartment, explained how to best get around and there was a very informative folder with ideas for places to eat, how the bus work and so on.

Nothing you can imagine

We simply loved it and it way exceeded our expectation The view was spectacular und having a glas of wine, sitting on the balcony and watching the cruise ships from a distance is just holiday. The apartment is very well equipped, even coffee capsules, water, fruits and delicious bred has been waiting for us. But for us most strikingly was the warm hospitality of Andrea and Alex, the siblings running the apartment house. You feel so welcome and we were so greatly taken care of.Thank you😊

Nothing remarkable.

The apartment is fully equipped. It is a 45-minute walk from the city center, but a bus station is about 5 minutes away, or a taxi will cost around €10. The view from the balcony is splendid, overlooking the entire Funchal. It is a 3-minute walk to the Botanical Garden and 5 minutes driving to the main express road (easy access). The hosts are very responsive and helped us with all our requests. They have a book of useful information, from bus schedules to the best restaurants or activities to do. They have a private parking slot, for free.

I don't know where to start except - Andreina and Alex, thank you! You are the best host I've ever had. Communication with Andreina was great! She was available 24/7 and allowed us quite early check in and also on the check out day we left our baggage until 7 pm in the apartment. Alex welcomed us at the apartment, showed us around, gave many tips and tricks and also was always around if needed help for anything. It's so rare these days that hosts welcome you on your arrival. Apartment was everything we hoped for. Clean, spacious, with enogh towels, toiletries (even makeup remover wipes!) and with great views over the city! Parking sport is very covenient, free and you approach it from the steep road but nothing to be worry about. Location is great for driving around island as it's close to exit for Via Rapida and also is short drive to the Funchal centre. I highly recommend you to book your stay here as I will, for sure, be back over and over again!
