I didn't like the furniture, felt like I was back in 1940s. It definitely needs a complete renovation.

Location of the hotel is perfect, everything is near: shops, bus station, cafes... Breakfast was quite nice, basic but ok. Staff is very friendly.

Either we didn’t get lucky to get one of the better rooms but the comforter covers were stained and old. Small room and even tinier bathroom. Every time someone opened or closed their room doors making a loud thud sound. Thin walls and neighbours can be heard clearly.

Breakfast was good and satisfactory. Location is great and convenient. The lady at the front desk on the weekend was really nice and sweet. Great deal for the price you pay. Value for money. All staff are very friendly and nice.

The blankets didn’t seem to be washed, just the sheets. The bathtub needs to be replaced, the top coat was coming off.

The location is great, right in the centre, 4min walk from the bus station. Just next door there is an amazing restaurant with great food and wine. It’s very cheap.

It was small but functional. Lots of noises in the rooms. Bathroom was super small and some door damage from hitting the toilet. They put a stopper so it wouldn't bang. Food was not something to write about although the person running it was very nice. Front desk very nice people.

The staff are very friendly and good, on the last day i had to leave early and they made the breakfast early just for me to eat before going, definitely will consider the place in my next visit

This is my second time staying at Dona Leonor. It has become my goto place when I need to spend a night in Caldas. The price is right. It’s in the heart of town, 4 mins walk to the bus station. Clean and comfy rooms. Free breakfast. Helpful staff.

The breakfast was reliably good every morning. The hotel had a bit of a "retro" feel to it, but that's one of the reason't I booked it. The location was only two blocks from the bus station which made it very convenient for me with my heavy backpack. I was pleased with the room which worked perfect for my purposes.

Good value for money, hotel in the heart of the city, reserved parking spot for customers. The ladies at the check in and breakfast service were friendly. Tasty buffet for breakfast! Almost we were happy to be able to check out until 12pm, it gave us time to explore the surroundings in the morning.

It was a nice stay in Caldas da Raina. Room was quite spacious with everyday cleaning (it wasn't necessary, however we were feeling great coming back to freshly clean and nicely smelling room. Hotel is located in short walking distance from bus station - ideal location for us as every day we were using buses to visit closely towns. We were happy with our hotel's choice.

The bed headboard was bigger than the bed so it kept switching the light on and off. Breakfast could have been a little more varied

The hotel is old, the room smells of moisture. There was no place to park the car. Breakfast is very poor. The reception staff were unfriendly.

Nothing really except one of the staff was terse and never smiled.Some people might not like the dated furniture but I don't mind. They serve a reasonable breakfast but after the kitchen is closed it's not possible to. get sandwiches or even snacks from a vending machine

There was a lift and a night porter. The rooms are old fashioned Portuguese style which I like rather than modern places, like hotels for work, which could be anywhere in the world.
