OH, Simply amazing! An old masion turn into a hotel, antique furniture, but the bed was with modern matrass and very comfy. Living room, library, for shared use. The "honesty bar" gives a chance to try local spirits. There is cola too. And nespresso. The breakfast was served in the old barn. All very romantic and time travel feeling. Loved it! The stuf is the owners. Met us in person. Wish I could stay there longer. The best stay of our 11 day Portugal vacation. Will return!

Was feeling like I was a princess in a fairy-tale, literally. Its like you returned back in time to some XV century, but in a good way. Diego, the owner of the property was very nice and friendly, it was a pleasure to meet and talk to him. Rooms are nice as well, we were living like in our own small house, and the breakfast was served in a beautiful room, we did have all we need.

Beds were not very comfortable. Ford breakfast, I've had a bigger expactations. (Coffe was cold, they didn't have a fresh orange juise).

A bit secluded and hard to get to, but it’s part of the charm.

This 900 year old property is meticulously preserved by the proud owner, as it’s been in his family for seven generations. The place is a jewel with beautiful rooms filled with antiques. especially enjoyed having tea in the library, floor to ceiling with ancient and new books, at least one of every language. Thank you Diego for a wonderful stay.

This was the hidden gem of our trip to Portugal. Diogo and his family open their ancestral home to visitors. The library and family heirlooms were amazing to see. My partner and I both ranked this as the most likely place we wanted to return after our two week trip through Portugal.

It is a very beautiful country side property, very well preserved and clean. The rooms are historical and beautiful. It seems you are back in time. Mr. Diogo is very helpful and kind. I would definitely stay there again.

As we have experienced in these ancient lovely places, it's hard to keep it clean. We changed apartment within the Quinta for a slightly better one.. We understand the losses suffered during Covid and staff is expensive but overall everything needs a very good scrub and lots of repairs in the guest-rooms.

The enthusiasm of the owners, being the 7th generation owners, was infectious. It's a very interesting place with lots of very interesting history. They try very hard to make you feel welcome and are very proud of their place, so they should be. It was lovely to hear about the history, see the library and have access to a beautiful sitting room. The breakfast room was nice too, breakfast very simple but it's only an extra E7 per person.

Loved everything about it!

Quinta do Campo is such a special place. A peaceful escape from the crowds, a museum unto itself, amazing warm, welcoming owners, great breakfast. Close to visit the beach at Nazare and the beautiful town of Alcobaca.

very spacious, nicely furnished in my style elegant and traditional, huge bathroom, kitchen with equipment, quiet, space on the farm to walk around, you can park right in front of the rooms, very friendly host and welcome.

Not enough time to stay longer.

Character. What a gorgeous place. The owner Diego and his brother Juan were passionate Portuguese gentlemen and we had great conversations with them at the honesty bar (both spoke great english). We had an apartment with 2 balconies so always got the sun. The place has lots of history and you can explore at your leisure. Secure gates into the grounds next to a little village for evening meals. So good we stopped another night and will return. Breakfast was simple and filling served in an old distillery. 10 minutes from Nazare. Excellent wifi. If you want new and shinny this is not for you. If you want character, warmth, history and peace then this is the place.
