The location is wonderful if you really are after some peace and quiet! Service was very friendly, rooms were clean and spacious enough. Breakfast and dinner were cooked to order with local ingredients!

Despite it being very good, dinner is only served a few days a week, with the only dinner options being c.15min away by car.

Everything about the hotel, the staff and my time there was amazing. Their breakfast, lunch and dinners are very good and the room/poolside service is also very nice Perfect for a calm holiday, away from any noise or confusion.

The only disappointing thing was the hotel did not have a restaurant so we had an hour commute round trip for an evening meal

This hotel is in quiet location surrounded by olive groves. A great hide away. The decor and ambience of the building is superb. The staff were brilliant and attentive as were the two dogs who went walking with us in the morning

Not really a 'didn't like'. And really the only improvement that could be made! The availability of more regular evening meals / broader options. However, there are a few snack options up until 7pm and a 4 course meal once a week.

Everything! The space, the pool, the peacefulness, the staff and owners, the breakfast and lunch. Brite and her son Pedro were very welcoming and helpful. We loved the attention to detail everywhere in the decor. And Pedro has a great sustainable philosopy on farming he is putting into practice. Everything is done with love. We look forward to returning...perhaps try winter some time too.

Everything! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, they really put their heart in this project. All the food and drinks we had at the property were amazing, the place was so peaceful and the night sky was the clearest I have ever seen. We also loved to see the animals of the farm, and the very sweet dog and cats. It was the perfect vacation week.

The country house is lovely, well decorated, with a swimming pool for the summer and jacuzzi for the winter, a wonderful restaurant and the nicest staff. It's also quite close to the beautiful town of Monsaraz. It was perfect :)

Improve the range of food and quality of food. The lodge is isolated nearest restaurants 30 minutes away so you need to eat at the lodge and food is really terrible. They tell nothing about the lodge facilities or surrounding areas. Management is almost non existent

There is nothing wrong with this property, it just wasn't for me. The breakfast was delicious, but it was far too much food for me and the same every day. Dinners are a set price of 30€, not including wine or coffee and again it was far too much food. A starter, soup, entre and dessert. If I could have just had the entre for a reduced price I would have gladly done that. I went to a grocery store 30 minutes away to pick up some cold meats and cheeses. I loved the dogs, but unfortunately if I attempted to eat outside they were immediately there. I also didn't remember to put bug spray on and I was eaten alive and so I left a little early as I was just not comfortable. I also had an exfoliating scrub and massage, and while I enjoyed it, the masseuse sat down while she was giving me a massage so it wasn't as effective as it could have been.

The staff was exceedingly lovely and couldn't have been nicer. I also enjoyed the massage that I received. The area for breakfast was really lovely and the food was delicious. Every day they had a different cake that you could have a piece of. The hammocks were the best part, just lying there reading my books was bliss. The pool (is not heated) but I really enjoyed it and they give you a chair that you keep for the duration of your stay so you never have to worry about not getting a chair. It is very remote, so if you want a secluded and quiet holiday you will really enjoy it.

I was expected to enjoy SPA , but there are only available spring pool , that was pity . I liked chika (dog) and liked good service ,nice environment. But the distance is too far And the roadway to getting your hotel was so bad
