The hotel overall did not disappoint. The location, room size, comfort and amazing balcony view of the Sintra valley was perfect in making our stay memorable. Fantastic breakfast and great drinks at the Miranda restaurant with an incredible sunset view. Thank you to the helpful and very friendly staff.

Can't think of anything except of course the pricing but thats just being picky and maybe the driving directions which in that hilly/windy/narrow place need to be even more user friendly!

Location, location, location is normally used when buying a property but in this case it applies to this hotel and it has parking which in a place like Sintra is a huge benefit. Service was excellent as was the buffet breakfast. I great place to visit this lovely but hilly township.

Extremely friendly staff, very helpful, who also helped us to park the car in the underground garage and guide us to see the sights around, Extremely good location - right on the square in the historic center right next to the National Palace. A wonderful panorama from the restaurant.

My room had no towels, fridge didn't work, A/c was on heat and could not change it, Shower rose adjuster broken, no kettle for tea only the coffee machine which hot water produced has coffee flavour. Staff fixed these things, but this shouldn't happen to start with at this level of property.

Route in the complicated town of Sintra involves a restricted road. The need to use this particular road was not mentioned by the hotel. Google Maps and Waze didn't resolve this clearly either. Signs to the hotel point into a dead end road in the lower City and to two different restricted uphill roads closer to the hotel. Nearby the signs direct erroneously to the hotel reception where only a locked entrance to the parking garage can be found.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the center of town. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

The attitude of the man in the Reception.....he tried to issue an invoice for three times and in the end he promised to send it to my email.....not event today - almost one week distance, I did not receive it. He explained as he missed the name company he has to ask the accountancy to change the invoice....but did not get back to me. Even if you have bad news for the client....it is very important the way you transmit them.

Room had a nice balcony, which looked out to the lighted castle in the night time, magical! However is was not very pleasurable to sit there because of the noise of, I'm guessing airconditioning motor or such. I was not using the air conditioning in the room. It was a very low, ever present humming and could be heard even in the room although not as loud as outside. Restaurant could use some attention, floor and windows here and there not so clean. Menu was a bit boring and descriptions of dishes in English could have been more clear. Menu card itself could use an upgrade.

I stayed in NH Sintra for one night to visit the sights on my way from Lisbon. SInce I had my car fully packed and could park in the indoor parking gave peace of mind to enjoy my day. Reception inviting, staff friendly and professional. The lobby bar and restaurant has of great view but is a bit of strange mix. Seems they can't decide weather it to be a bar with football on the tv and very poor 90ties rock songs over the speakers or a swanky, pleasant hotel bar with comfortable seats to have cocktails and a bite to eat. Restaurant staff were hospitable. Room was good, not very cosy, good bed, linnens, as you may expect from an NH hotel.

Wifi was not dependable at all. My phone was able to connect, but I had to work one morning, and just could not get the Wifi to connect.

Location, location, location. Was very well located in the middle of Sintra. Enjoyed walking from the hotel around the town.

Minor things only: the shower head needed some maintenance. The restaurant food at dinner was fine but could have been even better. We opted to eat outside the hotel.

Nice room with excellent view. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was good. The location was amazingly good for visiting Sintra and the surrounding palaces & historical sites. The terrace at the bar/restaurant was a super locale.

We tried to reserve a table at the hotel restaurant just before 19:00 and were told that all tables were reserved for the evening.... We intended to eat early so ended up eating somewhere else! Funny enough, when we returned to the hotel, around 21:00, there were still empty tables.... Clearly bad management!

Location was perfect but getting there was very difficult because of traffic restrictions and GPS issues! The staff at the reception are really nice and the views from the balcony were very beautiful!

A bit rundown which is probably before NH acquired it. NH made minor renovations but it could use more for sure.

One morning we had to wait in a long line for breakfast because there was a large tour group dining in the dining room. The hotel does not have the breakfast capacity to accommodate everyone when it hosts large tour groups. No Uber pickup at the hotel because Uber is not allowed in the old town center. So it’s a bit inconvenient but not the hotel’s fault.

Excellent location. Room was both clean and spacious, very pleasant. The view was fair.
