It was an amazing experience to stay in Porto Lounge Hostel! It was central, very nice and comfortable, all clean and functioning well, a lot of space in bedroom, curtains on beds, in a beautiful historical house, but so well and beautifully renovated. All the staff and volunteers were great. What impressed me as well was that I received a message with the hostel entrance code if I wanted to come earlier and to leave my backpack! For a pilgrim for Santiago it was a salvation :-) They really care about their guests. It was worth every cent I paid. Thank you a lot Porto Lounge Hostel ! I highly recommend to stay there if you are in Porto.

There was noise on the street till early hours in the morning which kept me awake. Just a group of older guys chatting but the noise bounces off the walls in the narrow streets. I did kindly ask them to be quiet. They were nice about it and said sorry and moved on but not very far and I could still hear them.

Staff are amazing and friendly and helpful. Atmosphere warm and welcoming. Other guests chatty and inclusive. Clean, spacious, light, good layout.

Internet was patchy - but they were looking into having it fixed. Great for everyday stuff, not the most reliable for example for zoom calls.

The location is just perfect and you can walk everywhere. Room as in photos, everything was always kept clean and the staff was lovely and hands-on. It’s a quiet more on the family/working/older crowd.

Sadly, my yogurt and umbrella was stolen in a common area within a day (however, the receptionists were trying to help a lot, that I was very appreciated). I guess it would just happen in hostels. And I didn’t enjoy the sleeping bed and the room floor that make big noises when someone moved or walked.

I liked the receptionists and the clean ladies, who were just so warm-hearted and very responsive! I was staying in a female dorm, which is so. so. clean with great maintenance ! And they even got a balcony that made girls room even more brighter and cuter!!

There's no food store nearby. I wish there's more plugs in the communal room. It's just top bunkbed doesn't have a curtain and below bed won't get a close plugs. The lock to my room sometimes work sometimes not. My towel fell on the floor, wish there's a hanging clips. Lots of stairs so be prepared.

One of the most comfiest hostel I've ever been! Very clean bathroom & kitchen, helpful and friendly staffs. I love my room has a balcony where I can hang my towels and overlooked to the terrace. Love the bathroom as well it's very clean, equipped with hairdryer, hot water is okay. The kitchen and the communal space was amazing 🤩. Location-wise was good as I arrived at Trindade train station & a couple of minutes walk to São Bento st. Overall it's a pleasant stay for 2 nights!

The room was regulary cleaned, the bathrooms and the showers were warm. The personnel were nice and welcoming. The location is really central, you can do everything on foot. From the aeroport, you take the metro line E till trindad and then walk 10 minutes to the hostel.

I liked everything. The only downside was having fellow guests getting up so early! :D Which is hardly the hostel's fault!

I have no hesitation in recommending this place. They know exactly how to run an efficient business; easy check-in, great location, lovely friendly staff who are happy to help and the place is spotlessly clean. The bunks are comfortable, the lockers are really big and the communal areas are well taken care of. Will definitely stay here again.

It would be perfect if they could be some curtains for the upper beds..

The hostel was really nice. The team was friendly and always smiling. They could even provide me information on how to reach the airport early in the morning. The hostel was calm, cleaned and very well located ! The room were also cleaned with a private bathing room and good locker. We also had a curtain for the lower beds, which was a shame for the upper ones... There is a nice kitchen where you can make your breakfast. No breakfast option is available but there is everything to prepare it and they prepare lemonade, coffee, tee and leave some biscuits !

Everything was perfect!

Everyone on the staff is extremely friendly, professional, and willing to help when needed. A special thanks to Nayra, Lili, and Luma! They gave outstanding service during my accommodation. The housekeeping team was always warm and polite, keeping things clean neat, hygienic, and orderly. The hostel itself is centrally located close to Aliados metro station. During my stay, I do not recall any noise coming from the street. The dorm is a good size with an attached shared bathroom dedicated to the dormitory. It was spacious and always kept in prestine condition. The hostel has a cleaning team that stays until late in the evening. They also cleaned the dorm daily. The female dorm has a terrace that faces the garden sitting area. The kitchen is fully equipped with the best kitchen set-up I've ever seen for a hostel. Which made for cooking meals efficient. They provide coffee and biscuits throughout the day. There is also tea that can be made all hours. They have a filtered water fountain to provide clean, drinkable, refreshing water. Every night, they offer a glass port free of charge. If I am ever in need of accommodation, I would gladly stay again. I highly recommend them for your next lodging experience in the fabulous city of Porto.

Only thing what was unpleasant is the cigarette smoke coming from windows in the night from customers of hostel. Maybe the hostel needs to make stricter rules about smoking.

Everything was clean and the staff welcomed us very nicely. We were invited to a pizza evening, which was very unexpected. If i have to return, I will come back :)
