Nothing to do with the hotel, but we never got picked up at the airport through booking.com inspite of it being covered by booking.com based on the final price we paid and scheduling a pick up. We had to pay out of pocket for a taxi to the hotel after a long wait. Very disappointing for us.

Breakfast was poor. It was disappointing. The drainage in the bathroom sink was terrible. Water almost did not run. The shower was also not as clean as I am used to and also the water temperature varied too much on certain times (maybe while other people were also showering). Water pressure was also low on these times making it nearly impossible to take a shower or wash out the shampoo from your hair.

The staff was nice and bed / room was comfortable.

The most bothersome thing was a loud sound that occasionally came through the vents. We figured out that it was probably from the elevators. We got use to it, and it wasn’t a problem after the first day.

The staff was fantastic. One of the restaurant employees went out of his way to refill our water bottles during our first morning at breakfast. We discovered markets and were able to buy water for the remainder of our stay. Lots of good restaurants are within walking distance, as is the waterfront. The Koi restaurant in the hotel was very good too. We stayed at in a family suite. It had lots of nice amenities: robes, slippers, a Nespresso coffee maker, and cookies delivered every evening. The rooms were very clean and the housekeeping staff was very accommodating.

Breakfast- practically the same food everyday, not good for a longer stay. When some of ingredients were out, they did not bring more even if it was still quite early. Definitely could be much better!

Room was big enough and nice. Comfy bed, spacious bathroom. SPA facilities were not that great but good enough and not too many people used them, which was a plus. Very nice staff and a birthday surprise was a little bonus. Location - very close to the centre and the airport.

Beautiful and comfortable hotel with modern, spacious and well equipped rooms incl. a comparatively big balcony. We really like the decorations on the first floor where the bar is located and enjoyed the breakfast, food and drinks while listening to the live piano play. They also have a very nice garden and spa area with sauna, pool, whirlpool. The staffs are all very friendly and hotel is located in the central area.

These are 2 minor issues: 1. The balconies have a small step in them towards the edge to assist drainage. As it's all the same tiling it's not obvious. I tripped over it a couple of times (was sober) and on one occasion nearly dropped my phone over the edge. 2. We had an early flight and was initially told there was no breakfast available until 7am. However when checking out at 6am we were told it was available. Not a major issue but would have saved us having to eat at the airport

The downside was paid parking so we simply parked behind the corner on the street (EUR 8 VS. 2 per night). It's not a problem at all but could have been a nice offer during a low-season ;)

Everything was great! We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this hotel - comfy room and bed, SPA area, and breakfast. We were positively surprised that a decent breakfast was served even at 4 a.m for those who check-out to catch the morning flight.

Good place, comfortable location. If you want to use the spa area you would need a swimming cap even in jacuzzi what is not really nice felling to have a rubber on your head in hot jacuzzi.

The staff were really kind and accommodating. What made the biggest impression was on my birthday I was surprised by a genuinely delicious cake on the table in our room. That kind of service really impacted our impression.

It’s located centrally in Ponta Delgada so everything is within walking distance. Lots of amenities including a great wellness area with pool, sauna and steam room which we really enjoyed. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of selection and very tasty. The rooms were super comfortable, spacious and clean. Everyone we encountered there was very helpful and extremely nice! We loved having casual drinks at the bar — great cocktails and very good bartenders!
