The smell when you enter the lobby is heavenly. The breakfast is great! Everybody was sooo friendly and helpful. Great place! At the breakfast buffet we were even greeted in Hungarian - very attentive and thoughtful! We loved it.

If I have to point out something it would be the bathroom of the room, not so up to date and would deserve a little improvement. Also it would be great to have a propriety map to help us guide on the hotel (we never managed to see the spa or the pineapple garden)

Perfect! Super friendly staff, from the reception to the restaurant, everyone was super friendly and always greeted us with a smile. A lot of attention to details: small details that really made a difference , like cookies delivered on our door or a scented candle before night time. We were positively surprised and felt super comfortable! The breakfast was very good, good variety, buffet + a la carte menu very good ! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Easy to park, location was also very good. Super calm and zero noise at night, which is great.

The Wi-fi in our room was unstable and weak, but good in th Foyer and Restaurant. There is no kettle/cofeemaker in the room, which would've been nice to have.

Wonderful Hotel! One can feel the personal touches all around. Design is very good, the staff very helpful and extremely nice. The "good night" treats like cookies, candles, etc. every evening was definetely a highlight. Breakfast was awesome, local products were used. Even the tea was from the local tea plantation. We used the sauna only once and the heated saltwater pool in the pineapple plantation was also a unique experience. Walking around the premises felt like a botanical garden. They have plenty If parking space, we always got a spot!

It’s rare for me that a property exceeds my expectations but this one certainly did. Lovely rooms, communal space, facilities, gardens in a peaceful and tranquil setting. Staff were also lovely, and I can’t recommend enough a stay here.

The restaurant and breakfast were massively under staffed. The Pilates and tennis are at an extra cost which we didn’t realise before we arrived

Front of house Staff were amazingly helpful. Really friendly. Couldn’t have asked for more from them. The room was spacious and clean. The grounds were lovely Would definitely recommend this hotel, it’s really beautiful and different.

Some of the staff seemed a bit distracted and we had to re-order drinks on a couple of occasions but, overall, everyone was so pleasant that it was a minor problem. The route to the hotel was very winding, through narrow streets which surprised us but it was a lovely oasis when we got to it, so worth the effort.

Beautifully designed small hotel with lovely grounds, close to the airport and downtown Ponta Delgada, but very quiet and peaceful. Ample parking. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful, the rooms were spotless, well-equipped and comfortable. The breakfast was extensive with fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, different kinds of bread, meats, cheeses, cakes, etc. and egg options cooked to order. We didn't have time to try out any of the spa facilities so cannot comment on these.

The design aesthetic was beautiful and created a very calm and nature inspired space. My room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was great. I had an early flight and they were kind enough to lay out a breakfast bar for me at 6am which was very appreciated.

Beautiful property. Very well maintained. Incredibly kind, friendly, accommodating and helpful staff all across the board. Excellent customer service. Wonderful value and quality proposition. The entire team at property made this a wonderful stay.

That couldn’t stay longer.

Everything was perfect. The ladies at reception were all amazing nothing was too much to ask to them such kind and beautiful souls! I would come back just to visit all the lovely people at the hotel who made my stay here also the hotel was beautiful I was given a room with balcony and was so big esp the bathroom I could not fault it! Getting into town was about 8-10 euros and transport around here is not so good so it is better to have a car but even though I did not have I would still stay here as the hotel was beautiful to relax in bar or in the spa or the room. Also breakfast was delicious!

- the temperature in the common areas was too low; - the curtains instead of doors for the drawer; - no kettle or coffee machine in the room, tough we always got tea and coffee from the bar, even late night; would've been still nice to have them. - the solid shampoo in the bathroom.

Beautiful setting, nice design and professional staff. The garden and the swimming pools are really nice.

A la carte breakfast is painfully slow, especially when a particular waiter was on shift. Sauna had some autostop feature that was a bit annoying.

This was the best overall hotel experience I’ve ever had. I’ve worked in hotels and stayed in lots. There was the right balance of everything. The pineapple greenhouse thermal plunge pool was the highlight! The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, and dietary requirements.

Very specific as it was excellent overall but room could do with more storage and lighting by the mirror.

Really relaxing place to stay, friendly staff, with a great location to drive into town for dinner and drive all around the island from.
