The location is great, closed to the old centre, 5 mins walk to the buss station from where you can take the buss to the airport. Mrs Flori is a lovely lady who is there to make your stay comfortable. In the kitchen you can find everything you need so you can cook a proper meal. I spent 5 nights and everything was as it should. 5* from me.

There is no strict rule about noise after specific hour like 10PM. Unfortunately some people make noise and speak loudly in the midnight.

The owner and all hostel staff are very kind and helpful. Every day cleaning ,and having 2 living rooms with netflix and comfy sitting area ,is the only best hostel in bucharest ,They are taking care of each and every need of their guests very close to subway Uniri highly recommended

The owner of the hostel is very friendly. There was also a spacious common area to hang out with hostel mates on both floors of the hostel. Everything was great!

Hosts are very sensitive to customers' needs and do their best to meet their expectations. Location is amazing - some 200 m away from the nearest metro station and bus 100 to airport. Spacious kitchen, with all needed facilities and living room for socializing. Many toilet and shower facilities.

The beds are not very comfortable, the springs in the mattresses prevented me from sleeping well and got me backache (tried different beds, all the same). The bed structure is not solid, at the slightest move the whole bed shoock (upper and lower beds). The knobs and lockers get easily broken, I could enter the building without having to put any code, the doors would open without. The building seems old, the rooms and facilities too, but at least everything was clean. There is no one at the reception, you have to call if you require anything but they help with everything.

The location is very good, with a short walk you can arrive the old town. Oana and the rest of the staff are really friendly and try to help whereever they can. Furthermore the Hostel has well equiped common rooms, where I got easily in contact with other travellers :)

The showers in the 2nd floor are very small. Also, the bunk beds are not comfortable, I hit my head on the top bunk everytime I tried to lay down. If there are people in the kitchen or the living room area in the 2nd floor until late you could hear all the noise.

The location is perfect, near the center, but in a very quiet neighborhood. The host is a sunshine, she makes sure the place runs smoothly and brings goodies for all guests. The rooms are large and there are lockers for your belongings. There is a fully equiped kitchen and also there is coffee and tea everyday. Internet connection is perfect. Friendly ambiance. Restaurants and grocery stores near the hostel.

I liked this hostel a lot. The only thing I can think of as a critique is that it would be nice to have an area to dry outside the shower stall and get changed in the bigger shower area. You can walk back to the room in your towel or to the toilet stall beside the shower stalls but it's nice to be able to have the space to dry and change in one area. I made it work, so not at all a deal breaker but rather a nice-to-have

This is a very simplistic hostel but very comfy. It kind of felt like I was back in university visiting friends in their home shared by other students. The bunk beds are comfortable and the common rooms are very big for meeting others in the hostel. The staff are incredibly nice and I had a nice chat with them during breakfast one morning. I enjoyed this place so much that I booked it a second time when I knew I was returning to Bucharest. The wifi was excellent and I really appreciated the snacks they had in the living room area for when I was working on travel logistics. The bathrooms are nice and big too and very clean, I felt so comfortable here. If you have laundry to do, they do it for you as the washer is for staff use only and is for an extra charge but it's not very expensive. All in all, a great place for a cheap price.

These aren't really complaints more so than heads ups: The beds don't have privacy curtains, but I didn't find this to be an issue because there were only two other travelers in my room. The staircase is narrow, so be wary when you're carrying luggage upstairs. When entering the front gate, push the door in a little more aggressively. It can get slightly stuck.

Let's level set for a moment: I'm a solo woman traveler in my late twenties, and I'm increasingly shying away from hostels because my aging soul can't handle, disrespectful hostels anymore 🥹, so imagine my dread as I was scrolling through Booking.com searching for any shred of hope for a hostel that could just hit these basics in Bucharest. I was losing hope until I came across this hostel with multiple reviewers praising it as the BEST HOSTEL they stayed at IN THE CITY, and I have to agree! CLEAN bedroom, bathrooms, living rooms, kitchen FAST, RESPONSIVE, KIND STAFF who were understanding of my concerns. Valentina was the warm smile and soul I needed during this trip! I checked out early but was concerned about leaving my backpack with my laptop in the more public luggage storage area, and she let me store it in my locker until I picked it up at 2:30 p.m. BIG, FUNCTIONAL LOCKERS that could hold my ~28L backpack and likely carry-on luggage as well (apparently this is a rarity for some reason) GREAT LOCATION: in Old City, so close to most city attractions DRINKABLE WATER: I still have no idea where to refill my water bottle in Bucharest, so luckily, this hostel provides filtered water in the kitchen. LAUNDRY SPACE: plenty of space and sunlight to dry your clothes Thank you for a wonderful stay, Sport Hostel!

The wi-fi didn't have a password (I would feel more secure if it did). The metal bunk beds were a bit creaky and they didn't have those little curtains around the beds (those are super handy). Very minor complaints overall.

From the name I was expecting a "bro" type vibe (not my thing) but it was actually very small and homey and cosy. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean.

It's probably one of the best hostels that I've ever been to. It was clean, the location was great, and the owner was also very kind! She always brought something to eat whenever she came by. I usually don't cook when I'm staying at a hostel because it's usually very dirty, especially the plates. But here, I cooked pretty regularly during my stay!
