How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There was no wifi for 2 nights. I feel like with the price I paid, breakfast should already be included.

Very good hostel to stay and met the city...very good location ..they made activities at night like karaoke and have a great atmosphere...the people on the bar are very kind...amazing conditions

One lift was out of order, so it took some time to get to the room. Bed could be a little bit wider:)
24-hours chek-in, very good location, breakfasts, design.

We booked a family room but there are usual dormitory rooms on the same floor, so sometimes we could hear big noise and conversations from them. Also very thin door and you can hear everything from corridors.
Nice and big room. They welcome guests with dogs.

It was a busy weekend at the hotel and it was hard to get hold of the elevator. We ended up taking the stairs most of the time.

I definetely overpayed for my stay due to the Taylor Swift concerts. 120/night is alot to sleep with 5 other people. There are no towels provided, and the bathroom was not very clean, we found multiple hairs, even after the cleaning service. I would also suggest not sending male cleaning staff into female rooms.
Location is excellent, and the hostel is overall very nice. Very friendly staff and check in/out. As a single female traveller I felt very safe staying here. You needed a key card to enter everywhere, and there were also multiple cameras. Bedding is provided, along with shampoo and hairdryer. The hostel is also very quiet, which I did not expect from a place with so many young people.

The hostel was far from the main attractions like vasa, vikings and Abba museum, the main ones that a family would go for during a holiday. The light in the bathroom was motion sensitive, far too much for sustainability, it kept switching off every 3 seconds which was very irritating. One would have to keep swaying your arms in the air to keep the lights on even during shower. The surprising sign was a hand hygiene faucet was good but to figure out how it worked took a rather long time for a regular user. Its inlet linked to the tap inlet. There was only a overhead shower and not a hand shower. Not everyone would like to get their hair getting wet even if they dont want to.
The room was good. The hostel was good to stay

The room was quite hot and only a single window was able to be slightly cracked open. The wifi was also quite slow and fickle as it is one of those portal logins, and 10am checkout feels pretty early, especially considering any luggage storage is more payments.
The bed was comfortable, the staff were nice, and the location is great.

the bed was awful, the pillow were joke a small pillow for kid was given to me. I had to put my jacket and rucksack to have a comfortable sleep, the mattress was the same. its a shame to offer customers such an appaling bedding

Ventilation in the evening is a catastrophe . Its a hotel you cannot shut off the ventilation at the time when its mostly occupied. I am scared to use this hostel when the summer really kicks in as i am sure it will be unbareable . Please do fix this situation , i have already commented previously about this matter , thanks

No kitchen and no fridge access
Close to train station, good size rooms, clean, nice place, staff is helpful, can get breakfast for a fee. Only issue is no kitchen and no fridge access
