How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The lift is a little bit slow in the morning. It takes us quite a while to go downstairs. Others are perfect.
The location is perfect. Only 10 meters from the metro station. We walk to the city hall and the old town. There is also a Chinese restaurant nearby.

Can’t think of anything.
Room was comfy and had a nice bathroom. I got a late room for a good price, but the trade off was no window. For one night this was fine. Gym also well furnished.

Double bed was 2 single beds together , not ideal . And couldn’t open windows in the room . Requested air conditioner from reception .

We were there in 26 degrees the air conditioning wasn’t great. Not very powerful

Our room had an internally facing window, so we were overlooked by other rooms..
The location of the hotel is perfect. Just across the road from the train station and walking distance to gamla Stan and boat trips. The room was very comfortable and great shower! The hotel has a roof top bar as well as a top floor viewing platform, both of which offer fantastic views across stockholm.

Maybe the reception staff can be more pleasant on checking in. Not that the lady serving us is rude but facial expression says alot (must be having a bad day).
Room was not big but comfortable. Hotel near Central station and easy to access from the airport. Very convenient to walk along the water embankment to the royal place and other tourist spots. Many restaurants nearby and the area is safe to walk as many people about. Breakfast is good as wide variety of food.

We felt like it had a lot more potential when it came to the actual rooms in terms of renovation and cleanliness. Staff was a bit of a hit or miss, some were nice, some not so much. Cost of the hotel didn’t match the value, although we were there the weekend that Taylor Swift was playing, so they had definitely put the prices up.
Generally the hotel has some great facilities and a great location. We definitely recommend having a drink on the rooftop bar! Breakfast also had a lot of options.

The beds were ok, but the top mattress kept sliding off the base. It also would have been nice to have blackout curtains as the sun rises very early in the summer. Overall, though, we slept well it did not negatively impact our stay.
The staff were always very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet had a good variety and it had a dedicated gluten free section which was very important as one of us is Celiac. The location is perfect.

Perfect location, good staff, very helpful, however there’s no face towel in the bathroom! We stayed for 2 nights in Scandic however on the other day the staff wasn’t changed our bed sheets.

TV in the room was basically useless, said you could connect to Netflix / Chromecast but you couldn't due to a long-standing issue.
Breakfast was great, room was lovely with a great view and the location is one of the best you could get.

No hot chocolate available in foyer, as there was last year. Fortunately, a very obliging staff member went and made me one.
Location, facilities, nice foyer to sit in for relaxing, excellent staff, close to Arlan’s Exoress & nice restaurants for dinner

The gym was practically non existent, the garbage cans were too small for any recycling or garbage. The place was pretty basic, no bar fridge or clean ing unless you asked for it. Good for about a two night stay, but any more you might want to find a place with more amenities.
Good location to the train station and close to the old town. The breakfast was also good, and it was clean when we arrived.

It seems the seating at breakfast is too small for this hotel.
This is a fairly new or newly renovated hotel in a great location. Common areas and rooms are modern. The breakfast has everything you can imagine.

The room was very small, and had no window. For me it wasn't a big deal, but for others it may be.
Nice hotel, very good gym and excellent location (for travellers, and business)
