There was nothing we did not like. All was great.

Breakfast was absolutely brilliant which a huge range of options including fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, eggs cooked how you like. Owner and all staff were so friendly and helpful. Whilst hotel is located in a restricted traffic zone and does not have on-site parking, the team were very helpful in explaining options and parking nearby ( a 5 minute walk). The hotel is in a brilliant location to walk in to the old town for bars and restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the team. They were all so cheerful, helpful and willing to go the extra mile

I cannot fault the hotel.

A beautifully refurbished old house in a good central location. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially in organising some unusual outings for us. The spread laid on for breakfast each morning was exceptional with freshly baked dishes and an array of delicious fresh products.

Nothing to dislike about this hotel.

This is a brilliant hotel. The owner Natasa and her team were so friendly, couldn't have done enough for us and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. We had a comfortable room which was very clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfasts were delicious, offering lots of variety and made with locally sourced ingredients. It is also conveniently located for all of Ljubljana's attractions.

Nothing to dislike here. We felt totally relaxed and pampered from the moment we were greeted at the door.

The thing that made this stay so special was the passion of the owner/operator and her team that went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The hotel building dates back to 1550 and has been lovingly restored with every modern convenience. The breakfasts were customized daily and prepared by property chef Alenka; they were delicious!!

The location was stunning and felt like a little piece of luxury. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, consistently going above and beyond for their guests. The daily breakfast was also incredibly delicious. On one of the days, we had an early tour, and they provided us with a packed breakfast to take with us. We had an amazing time and both agreed that this was our favourite accommodation we've ever stayed at. Thank you April1550 for making our time in Ljubljana so special! We will definitely be back!

There’s nothing that I don’t like about the property.

What I liked most about April 1550 Boutique hotel is the aesthetics. You can see from the moment you walk in their attention to detail. My room was super clean with an airy decor. Staff were so kind and helpful, from check-in to check-out. Breakfast not only was delicious but beautifully presented. I had an early morning tour departure and they packed me a wonderful breakfast to go.

A beautiful old house with the most tasteful decor and furnishings. It was immaculately clean and homely. Natasa and the April1550 Team make you feel like you’re in your home away from home. It was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever eaten. I was so glad I was able to stay here and would re-book in an instant! I was only sad I couldn’t stay for longer.

The moment we stepped into the reception area and the kind welcoming greeting we received was the beginning of a truly special home away from home experience. We rested in a lovely inner garden with a refreshing drink while the room was given a few final finishing touches. From this moment on every day was an experience that we will never forget. Quiet, great location for exploring on foot, closed to car traffic AND at the base of the trail to the stunning views of the castle surrounded by coffee shops restaurants and a short distance to the river walk. APRIL1550 checks off all the boxes. Breakfast was a stunning experience with food sourced locally, specially prepared baked treats by the in house chef and homemade condiments. The attention to detail was obvious on every aspect of this boutique hotel. It left us feeling well taken care of and sad to leave. ,
