We stayed for 2 nights in November. I have booked a room in the historic building but we then decided to stay in the main building since the weather was bad and the spa/restaurant were there. The staff went an extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We could use the pool when we wanted, the fireplace was lit for us - great compliment for the staff hospitality. Something else I really need to emphasize was the food- stunning fresh breakfast ( THE BEST FLUFFY PARMESAN OMELETTE I HAVE EVER HAD). We also dined 3 times in the restaurant and all items on the menu were really remarkable. Having great freshly prepared tasty food and being able to relax in a cosy atmosphere made our stay very pleasurable.

What a wonderful place. A beautifully restored original building with new facilities in an exceptionally well-designed and impressive separate block. The quality of everything about the establishment is superb. The staff are friendly, attentive and very professional. The food is fresh, well-presented and interesting. We thought that it looked interesting in the photos when we booked but the reality was even better than we could have imagined.

It was an incredible and unique experience: staying in both a castle and museum at the same time. One can enjoy the historical atmosphere, the luxury of modernity, and the beauty of nature. The attentive personnel, the first-class restaurant, the super breakfasts, the fantastic wellness area, and the convenient parking all make one wish to come back as soon as possible.

Wellness area is beautiful but sauna wasn’t hot enough for us. Maybe because of heat loss via big front glass wall. Which is beautiful as well but probably compronises the function.

Design of the whole property, including reception, restaurant and rooms is very nice, decent, with the right details. breakfast was perfect, and dinner in the restaurant was a high quality dinning experience.

Everything was perfect. Spacious room, very clean. Kind staff, very helpful. Delicious breakfast. Also other dishes were made by great chef, nice serving. Wellness has a stunning view to the mountains. 😊 Area around the property is a big park, where you can have a walk ot sit on the bench. It is only a few minutes to the centre of Dolny Kubin.

Some windows were turned towards the road which was a little busy but that’s not their fault.

It is a historic area with hills and woods all around. The accommodation was essentially in a refurbished mansion. The food was good (although the portions are rather small), they have a wine cellar which is worth visiting, small spa and a lot to see around. I went there for a wedding and then stayed there longer with my parents and it’s was super clean, comfortable and my parents loved it.

No elevator - room in the first floor and we had to carry our baggage ourself upstairs. No makeup mirror in the bathroom. No mirror in the room (only mirror was in the bathroom) Small suggestion: I adore to have slippers ☺️ - unfortunately no slippers in the room 😶

Atmosphere, very clean, staff friendly and English speaking. Cannot say anything about the location and surrounding and if there is a lot to do around? Maybe hiking?

Very nice place, friendly staff, clean, comfortable. A bit of a pity that it is next to a busy main road. The room was modern, clean and quiet (well isolated, facing away from the main road) 👍 It is the perfect starting place for your Velky Choc hiking (the trail is 1 minute from the property)

Restaurant staff was pretty slow, the noise from the road is quite high.

Really nice garden, good food and beautiful clean wellness will all the stuff you might need. Staff was very nice, polite and always tried to go out of their way to meet all our needs. They give you everything beach towels, robes, extra towels for wellness, water with fruit and serve you anywhere you want.
