How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The hotel is located in the center, it's 20 min by foot to the old town, 25 min by foot to the Tipos Arena - ideal location for the concerts! The hotel is very clean. The breakfast is very good with great choice of meals and beverages. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed is very cosy and comfortable. We enjoyed our staying a lot!

The decoration is a little bit oldfashioned. The lighting provided is also poor and oldfashioned. A waiter in breakfast was in a hurry to pick up our plates.
Spacious and comfort room and bathroom. Clean and well equiped. Good location, about 15' walk from the old center of the city. Good breakfast with a variaty of tastes. Gentle and warm personel, willing to help the costumers.

The airco doesn't work very good. It's warm in the room because of this.

Not much around the hotel but with public transport on hand this wasn’t a big issue.
No frills hotel in good location, close to public transport to train and old town. Comfortable and clean, staff were helpful, the room was larger than most with modern bathroom, everything worked well. Would recommend and would stay here again.

The entrance to the underground garage is very narrow and the parking spaces are also not wide, be careful if you have a larger car. Otherwise, there is nothing to complain about.
Very nice hotel within walking distance to the city center. The room was spacious, very clean, the beds were comfortable and there was a minibar which was included in the price, so it was replenished every day. The breakfast was tasty and there was enough choice of everything. They had delicious homemade desserts. Nice staff everywhere. You can park in the underground garage for a fee. We were satisfied and would choose this hotel in Bratislava again.

The piece of land right behind the hotel looked like being prepared for a construction site. I was lucky as there were no works during my stay.
Breakfast was ok and one could ask for a better quality coffee from the bar during the same. The room was clean. (Electricity in the room is on when the door card is inserted into a special holder at the entrance. If one dislikes the ventilation system noise, it is possible to remove the card so that the noise stops and to open the window in the room for fresh air) Location is ok too - the old town and Bratislava Castle are reachable by walk, there is a nice green park some 7 min by walk from the hotel.

Confusing entrance – hard to find. The room was too hot, and impossible to cool down, even in April. AC didn't help much. Fridge reeked of sausage.
Wide selection of meals for breakfast buffet. Windows can be opened. Good location – close to the center.

Nice hotel, a little bit far from old town, but there is a tram station near. Hotel itself looks fine, we are family of four, so they gave us two connected rooms at the same price, which was very generous.Breakfast was nice.we had good time in Bratislava, not a big town but interesting.

Breakfast was very busy with a line of 5 min or more to take a coffee from the machine. It was a ok breakfast nothing really special. I lost one card key to the room and I needed to pay 8 euros for it.
