How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Personnel of hotel is very helpfull. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast is decent. Location is suitable for visiting the Town.

I really enjoyed my 4 nights stay in the hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly. It's convenient to get to the hotel from the airport via 442 bus.

Nothing everything was great.
Very clean rooms. The breakfast was excellent. Especially the staff is very nice! They do their best to make a comfortable stay. Everything is in the near of the hotel. I would book this hotel again.

The only thing that I didnt like in this hotel - They have no iron. I surprised. I saw this first time.
The very good hotel for this price. Staff is good Location is also good. Near to many interesting places. Some bed comfortable, some is not so comnfortable. Example, we had 3 bed in room. 2 of them was good, but 1 was hard. Breakfast good for this price.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the breakfast session opens everything is limp and cold.
The room was very clean and comfortable and very good value for the price. Staff were friendly and even though the neighbourhood isn’t that ‘vibrant’ we enjoyed the restaurant opposite and had a good rest here.

I was a bit puzzled by the wash hand basin until I worked out that you had to turn the tap to cold to get hot water and vice versa.
The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful. I was able to walk to all the museums and sites that I wanted to see, but I must add that I like walking and wandering. I felt very safe in this location. There is easy access to restaurants in the area. If I returned to Ankara I would certainly stay here again.

Location is not great with a lot of night life in the area (unless that’s what you’re looking for).
Great service by staff who were very friendly and helpful, room was really clean. Great value for money overall.

Location is a bit far from downtown but not bad at all since there are a lot of shops around the area for basic necessities.
We liked our stay at Dab Hotel Ulus. Worth the price for our one night stay. We wished we could have stayed a few more nights but time did not permit. Will definitely go back and recommend this hotel. The room is modern. We were able to use netflix. There is a cafe in the hotel. Breakfast has much varities. They accepted our request for an early breakfast instead of usual 8am. Room has balcony where you can smoke. We liked the security features of the room. It was a positive stay overall. Staff are smiling and friendly.

The room hadn't a balcony, but the description of this room contained information about balcony.
The location of the hotel is quite good for foreign tourists, who wishes look at central ancient part of Ankara. The hotel is situated near Ulus metro station. You can reach Ankara castle and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations by your feet in 30-40 minutes. The room had heating radiators. It was warm inside the room during snow cold days. We liked it very much in the hotel. One more important thing in this accommodation - cleanliness of bed and the room itself. The breakfast was also good with a good choice of different foods.

Always have loud public sound on the street
Spacious and value for money. It provides free parking at the end of the road just tens metre away.

The AC was not working and it was so hot inside the room. We asked for the AC remote twice but the reception said something is being fixed somewhere. So my husband asked if they can move us to a different room with working AC then that's the time they gave us the AC remote. So fishy.
The hotel is actually very clean and nice. There are also several food options for breakfast
