How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We prefer a softer bed but the host put down extra padding for us. It was still too firm for us but we we were blown away by their customer service

We were lucky with the number and there were no cons
We stayed for 1 night. Ideal if you have a very long layover at Sabiha airport. The place is busy, there are a lot of shady bars nearby. But we were lucky with the room and there was no noise from the street. Friendly staff - they upgraded our room. For which we thank them very much!

This was the best decision to choose this hotel! 1) Everything is new and clean; 2) there is a new additional layer of windows, so you can not hear any noise from the street at all; 3) very comfortable bed and pillows; 4) hotel managers like your friends, they can solve any issues that you might have, be sure. Definitely 10/10!

Small bathroom. Loud music from a nearby club.
Cozy atmosphere, beautiful furniture. Clean room, very comfortable bed and pillows, fluffy towels. The room has a small fridge, electric kettle with tea and coffee bags and bottled water. Good location, 3 min to metro, bus and ferry. There are many cafes, shops, restaurants in the area. The staff is really kind and helpful.

You can hear street noises even with closed windows. Also too much audibility from the corridor. The floor creaks.
Highly recommended. Really clean room and bathroom, comfy pillows, puffy towels. Cozy atmosphere, lovely furniture (I stayed in flamingo room). Safe for valuables is provided, as well as little fridge and bottles of water. Top location, 3 min to metro and ferry.

Perfect location of hotel. Close to city centre and shopping street. Bus, ferry and metro less than 500 m away. Owner help us a lot with everything we needed. I raccomand this hotel.

Very clean and tidy hotel. Friendly and eager staff. We booked the junior suite, which was pretty spacious. 5min walk from the ferry.

Noisy street outside. Cleaning issues in the bathroom. No tea/coffee devices in the room (I had to took it from the reception). Poor english speaking personnel at the reception desk.
New apartment, interior and all furniture are in a very fresh condition. Situated just next to Kadıköy metro station and sea port terminal so you can easy access to Karakoy and Fatih. Also Kadıköy metro station is on the direct line to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport - just about 40 minutes ride. Close to Moda and Kadıköy districts - there are a lot of cafes, bars and antique shops near by.

Rooms: It‘s very authentic, very well designed and maintainded, always clean! Staff: The hosts are UNBELIEVABLY kind and accomodating. They were very supportive whenever I needed something. (Example: my clothes needed to be picked up from a dry cleaning and store and I didn’t manage to get them in time, so they offered to pick them up personally!). They were obviously trying very hard to please their guests. I travelled a lot and seen great hosts and hotels, but this one beats all expectations. I can only recommend this place! I‘m looking forward to visiting again. Turkish hospitality at it‘s finest! Location: central, very close to all kinds of transportation!

It'd have been nice to have a chair with the back support for long hours working. Room size is somewhat limiting. Lack of breakfast.
The amiable staff, very obliging and attentive. The WiFi was dependable, which is not a given elsewhere in Turkey. Kadiköy struck me as much more agreeable than the European side of Istanbul, the easy access to the airport and the variety of restaurants and cafes just around the corner was a major plus.

I recently stayed at Dimora Hotel, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, i felt the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room itself was tastefully decorated, offering a cozy ambiance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The hotel's location was excellent, providing easy access to all kinds of transportation. Everything was at like 5 minutes of walking Mr. Onur and his staff were exceptional, providing impeccable service with genuine smiles. They were attentive to every detail, ensuring that my needs were met promptly and with a friendly attitude. In conclusion, my stay at Dimora Hotel exceeded expectations.I would highly recommend Dimora Hotel

Very nice cozy hotel in Kadikoy area, walking distance to the ferry and nice areas with loads of restaurants and small designer shops. Super friendly and welcoming stuff! Will definitely stay here again :)

was absolutely happy to stay at this wonderful hotel! The Location is very cjnvenient , it take just 5 minutes walk from the pier leading to the European side of Istanbul and also 5 minutes walk from the bus stop leading to the airports. The hotel is also very close to the most wonderful quarters of Kadikoy, but at the same time on a very quiet and peaceful street. The room is very cozy, charmingly designed, has everything you need, a wonderful comfortable bed, incredibly soft towels. I also want to respond to the professional, polite, friendly staff. They kindly gave me their transport card and were always in touch with all questions. I am very thankful! I will definitely return and recommend this wonderful hotel to all my friends! Natalia
